Employers in New York state must now provide protective faces masks for all workers, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Sunday.
He said he signed an executive order ensuring the move

I had one of the good ones but lost it on the way to KFC

Is he going to take some out of his warehouse stockpile to give to any remaining employers?
I thought there was a shortage? Oh well, they can poop them out.

he reminds me of The Turk from The Godfather.
It didn’t end well for The Turk and lets hope cuomo’s political career goes the same route.
That’s the point. Businesses can’t open up unless they have masks for their employees. So, when businesses are unable to obtain these masks, they will remain close. Neat trick, huh?

This is not a smart move. As an employer, I wouldn’t even reopen my business under these conditions. And as an employee, I wouldn’t report for work in any normal workplace that was deemed such a high risk for disease proliferation that it required employees to wear masks.
This sounds like just the start of a new wave of gov regulations on NY businesses. Just the thing to choke industry.
He’s also an A-hole for imposing this requirement AFTER some large companies like Amazon and Prudential donated thousands of masks to hospitals out of their own stockpiles.
Well. You could say that for everyone including Trump. In my mind no one really thought this could happen and more governments were focused on other issues like climate change, military build ups, health care insurance and tax cuts. This caught the entire world off guard. So I tend to give a hall pass to all governments and I am glad they are at least doing something about it now.
Did his magic Obama pen actually deliver face masks from his elite warehouse stash, or is he just dictating them into existence?
It’s not like home depot or lowes has them in stock.
Post 8 — funny! Maybe Cuomo is just as dumb as he orders employers to provide masks when none seem available outside those under government control.
