With Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders officially ending his presidential campaign Wednesday, former Vice President Joe Biden is now the apparent Democratic nominee to challenge Donald Trump this fall. Biden ran through the primary on a platform of moderate pragmatism to counter the left-wing forces guiding the Democratic Party through a turbulent primary, with Sanders at one point eclipsing Biden as the frontrunner throughout February until Biden’s great political comeback with a South Carolina victory by the end of the month. Yet Biden is no moderate, particularly on abortion. Democrats made it pretty clear throughout the primary that none of the...

Another Chinese Communist Party “reporter” has been found masquerading their true identity and lying to the President of the United States in the White House Press Briefing Room. On Wednesday evening, reporter Ching-Yi Chang told President Trump that he was from Taiwan, not China. But Ching-Yi Chang lied. Just like his Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-colleague Youyou Wang two days ago, as reported by the National Pulse. Before the question, the U.S. President asked Ching-Yi (or Jingyi) “Where are you from?” Ching-Yi responds: “Taiwan”, to which the President responds: “Good.” In reality Ching-Yi represents another Chinese state-run outlet called Dragon Television,...

US Attorney General Bill Barr told Fox News host Laura Ingraham there was ‘no basis’ for the FBI’s ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ investigation into then-candidate Donald Trump. Recall, FBI counter-intel chief Peter Strzok opened a CI investigation into Trump’s campaign in July of 2016 dubbed ‘Crossfire Hurricane,’ based on bogus claims his camp was working with the Russians. Barr said what happened to Trump was one of the greatest travesties in American history. Even more alarming was the pattern of events after the campaign to sabotage Trump’s presidency. “I think what happened to him [Trump] was one of the greatest travesties in...

Washington (AFP) - The United States on Thursday accused the World Health Organization of putting politics first by ignoring Taiwanese warnings over China's coronavirus outbreak, laying out its case against the UN body. The State Department said the WHO was too late in sounding the alarm over COVID-19, showed too much deference to China and questioned why it did not pursue a lead from Taiwan. Taiwan, which has succeeded in preventing a major outbreak despite its proximity and ties to China, warned the WHO on December 31 of human-to-human transmission, Vice President Chen Chien-Jen has said. Chen, an epidemiologist, told...

Situated on mount Parnassus in central Greece lies the city of Delphi. While the city now is mostly ruins, for over a thousand years the ancient world referred to it as the Center of the World. Millions from around the ancient world would flock to the city to inquire of the Oracle. To a select few, the Oracle would sit in the temple of Apollo and give prophecies or answer questions of business, trade, and war. Alexander the Great was said to have visited the Oracle to inquire as to whether he would conquer the world. While modernity can scoff...

Last Thursday, the FDA relaxed some of its guidelines, which had previously restricted gay and bisexual men from giving blood. These new rules allow blood donations from men who say that they have abstained from sex with another man for more than three months. For the past several years, gay and bisexual men could not donate blood if they’d had sex with a man in the previous year. The earlier one-year waiting period was attacked as discriminatory and outdated when the FDA introduced it in 2015 to replace a lifetime prohibition on blood donation by gay and bisexual men. The...

We are seeing glimmers of light at the end of the tunnel that is the Covid-19 crisis. China, where the pandemic first struck, had its first day with no new deaths to report. Europe’s worst hit countries, Italy and Spain, are recording a slowing of their respective death tolls. And governments are now talking openly about lifting draconian lockdowns that have restricted movement for half of the world’s population, torpedoed economic activity and imposed a global recession. This is a big moment. The tunnel is a long one, though. The coronavirus outbreak hasn’t spread uniformly, and, in Europe, country-by-country lockdowns...

NEW YORK — Planned Parenthood of Greater New York has begun laying off and furloughing employees and will temporarily close a dozen of its health centers, citing a strain on resources posed by the coronavirus pandemic. * Dr. Anthony Fauci says people who recover from the coronavirus will likely be immune should a second wave of infection spread in the early fall. * He explained that because the virus has not mutated much, people who develop immunity will likely maintain it at least for the next few months. * Preliminary studies about coronavirus immunity and antibodies have shown that most, but not all, recovered patients develop antibodies. Dr. Anthony Fauci offered some insight into crucial questions about coronavirus immunity during an interview on Wednesday. The mayor of Louisville, Kentucky says churches will not be allowed to hold drive-in services on Easter Sunday. Mayor Greg Fischer, a Democrat, said he made his decision with a “heavy heart.” “Our job is to deny the virus,” the mayor told television station WDRB. “If we don’t do that, more lives will be lost. I know it’s tough…I just can’t allow (drive-thru church services) to happen.” The Courier-Journal reports that the mayor wants congregants who “belong to a church that is defying Fischer’s request to contact their minister or the city’s 311 line.” The mayor actually wants Christians to...

Dr. Stephen McColgan, chief medical officer at California-based Vivera Pharmaceuticals, told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Wednesday that his company's rapid coronavirus antibody test is ready to be deployed, but is being held up by "red tape" at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). "We have a rapid antibody test. And the key to this is, this is part of the solution to the crisis," McColgan said. "It identifies patients that have immunity and it identifies people that can give plasma [to] critically ill patients. "It was developed in Germany," McColgan said. "Germany has the lowest mortality from COVID-19 globally at this...

Washington -- If you were reading The Wall Street Journal late last week, you might have noticed a story about federal prosecutor John Durham from Connecticut. He is the man that Attorney General William Barr tapped a year ago to look into irregularities allegedly committed surrounding the 2016 election, possibly by high-ranking officials in our intelligence community. All of America is absorbed with the coronavirus pandemic. I am, too, but there are other matters of great import to be decided before this year is out. Durham's investigation is one of them. According to the Journal, when Durham became anxious about...
