US Attorney General Bill Barr told Fox News host Laura Ingraham there was ‘no basis’ for the FBI’s ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ investigation into then-candidate Donald Trump.
Recall, FBI counter-intel chief Peter Strzok opened a CI investigation into Trump’s campaign in July of 2016 dubbed ‘Crossfire Hurricane,’ based on bogus claims his camp was working with the Russians.
Barr said what happened to Trump was one of the greatest travesties in American history.
Even more alarming was the pattern of events after the campaign to sabotage Trump’s presidency.
“I think what happened to him [Trump] was one of the greatest travesties in American history, and without any basis they started this investigation of his campaign, and even more concerning, actually is what happened after the campaign, a whole pattern of events while he was president to sabotage the presidency,” said Barr.

They got away with it, Barr. FBI CIA DOJ Spying is now a precedent.
Great, so start prosecuting the perpetrators. Until I see that, this is just more lip service and no equality of justice. They are still above the law. How about putting some of these traitors in prison?

Hey Barr, let us know when you’re through navel gazing and want to get something done. We all know they engaged in treason along with many other “high crimes” and we’re sick and tired of the DOJ playing stupid.
Would it be too much to ask that you either do the right thing or you quit the job? It’s like you’re entered into the big race and you haven’t even pulled the car out of the garage yet. Meanwhile, the guilty get to sit around and plot their next moves.

Someone once told me that the key to US Democracy and peaceful transfer of power is NOT pursuing the crimes of specific individuals of previous administrations. There’s a tacit and unspoken understanding of this among top people in both parties and government. That’s what 3rd world nations do, and therefore, they take up arms to cling to power. We may eventually get the story of what happened, but its a foregone conclusion no one will go to jail for it
I thought it was an interesting notion of what appears to be a common practice. Not saying I agree.

It’s been 3 years, if he hasn’t indicted anyone by now, he’s not going to.
