Bill's 45-year marriage to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton survived the scandal, and the couple were last pictured visiting their daughter Chelsea's Manhattan home on February 27 to celebrate her 40th birthday. 'I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday,' the Clinton Global Initiative founder gushed via Twitter. 'Being your dad is the best thing that's ever happened to me. Happy birthday, @ChelseaClinton.' . . . Eyebrows have also raised over Clinton's association with pedophile and sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, who's said to have died August 29 in his Metropolitan Correctional Center cell.

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear a politically explosive case on whether Obamacare is lawful, taking up a bid by 20 Democratic-led states including New York and California to preserve the landmark healthcare law. The impetus for the Supreme Court case was a 2018 ruling by a federal judge in Texas that Obamacare as currently structured in light of a key Republican-backed change made by Congress violates the U.S. Constitution and is invalid in its entirety. The ruling came in a legal challenge to the law by Texas and 17 other conservative states backed by...

There is a meme that has been going viral on Facebook, saying, "Stay calm and wash your hands" with regard to the coronavirus scare. That is certainly good advice. It might be a good follow-up to caution those on social media to "Stay calm and avoid the hype" with regard to the blazing headlines and stories across all of the various media platforms. If one didn't know better, the coronavirus outbreak has been the second coming of the bubonic plague, more commonly referred to as Black Death, that wiped out a third of the European population in the mid-1300s. Clearly,...

Bill Kristol has a simple case for a Joe Biden presidency. In a post for his conservative site The Bulwark posted Monday, the neoconservative turned President Trump critic carefully broke down the remaining 2020 Democrats for the so-called "normal American." If "you don't like demagogues of the right or the left," you want someone who can win the Democratic nomination, and you're voting in a Super Tuesday state, then you should opt for the former vice president, Kristol wrote.Kristol opens his piece with his definition of a "normal American:" Essentially, you don't want the U.S. to have to choose "between [President] Donald Trump and...

A federal district judge in D.C. ruled on Sunday that Ken Cuccinelli’s placement as the acting top official at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) violated the Federal Vacancies Reform Act. Why it matters: Policies that were put in place under Cuccinelli are now void, including a directive that gave asylum-seekers less time to consult with legal counsel before their initial "credible fear" interview with a USCIS officer. Details: After the resignation of Senate-confirmed USCIS director Lee Cissna, deputy director Mark Koumans automatically assumed the role of acting director because he was designated as the "first assistant" under the Federal...

Democratic candidate Mike Bloomberg’s presidential campaign ran a three-minute prime-time TV advert on March 1 in which he addressed the nation about the threat of coronavirus. The New York Times reported the billionaire may have paid between $1.25 to $3 million for the advert which ran around 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS and NBC during “God Friended Me.” The Epoch Times has been unable to confirm the cost of the advert.

Last Monday, Bernie Sanders came under tepid fire from the mainstream media for a comment he made to Anderson Cooper in a 60-Minutes interview on February 24. He defended his 1985 statement supporting both Fidel Castro and Daniel Ortega. The context was that while Castro had done some bad things to Cuban citizens, he should be admired for promoting reading literacy and improving health care for the country’s children. While he criticized Cuba’s authoritarian regime, he likened it to the U.S. under Trump. Sanders argued that when Castro first came to power, he established reading literacy among the children, gave...

The story of the ominous coronavirus, which has increasingly been dominating the news cycle, has produced a bit of an outbreak of bad behavior among many of those personalities in the national spotlight. As reported by the AP, the Democratic debate stage on Tuesday was a hotbed of misinformation and false allegations around the global epidemic. Joe Biden was quick to blame President Trump. “We [The Obama-Biden Administration] increased the budget of the CDC,” he said. Trump, he added “wiped all that out….He cut the funding for the entire effort.”

North Carolina public universities are more than just institutions of higher learning. They are each small cities of young adults with Olympic-level athletic franchises, massive dining and fitness clubs, and special interest hobby communities supported by extensive human and physical infrastructure. To fund the many perks and benefits of university life, schools charge extra fees beyond tuition and room and board. In the University of North Carolina system, students at each of the 16 member institutions pay, on average, more than $2,500 annually in mandatory fees. Mandatory student fees are slowly going up at North Carolina public universities, making attendance...

It’s the question I’ve heard now for many years, specifically from evangelical Christians. “Since the world is only getting worse, why bother fighting the culture wars? What’s the use? What’s the point? Isn’t it better for us simply to share our faith and prepare for the return of Jesus?” To be sure, if I knew for a fact that Jesus was coming back in a week, I would not spend that week writing articles about transgender activism. Or trying to change hearts about abortion. In fact, I would not spend that week teaching a class in our ministry school. Or...

All the remaining Democrat contenders going into Super Tuesday favor free college tuition. Some favor 4 years for students to pursue their bliss, debt free, while others propose (initially) a more moderate 2 years. A couple of whack jobs want to eliminate existing student debt as well.Reflect on that as you peruse this story from The Oklahoman reporting on an ongoing student protest at Oklahoma University: Students said they will be sitting at Evans Hall until their demands are met. The Black Emergency Response Team (BERT) said many members would go on a hunger strike.“To the upper administration: there will...

I don’t know if Americans know what is going on all over Europe but they NEED to. If liberals want to keep bringing Muslim migrants into this country, we would end up exactly like Europe — overrun with fear. Muslims should have their own right and religious freedom yes but radical Islam has no place in 2020! We need to wake up and quit just standing there and watching! Radical Muslims expect preferential treatment because they look at others as inferior infidels. At the moment as the world is only talking about Coronavirus, Greece is facing a terror on its...

Pastor Martin noted that the Republican Party has done more outreach to the black community in Michigan than the Democratic Party has. This Democratic apathy — combined with the party’s continued migration to the Far Left — has Martin concerned that there’s no room for centrist Democrats like him in the party anymore. “I am a moderate Democrat, but I do not support abortion. I do not support same-sex marriage,” Pastor Martin said, according to the Detroit Free Press. “I have people in my congregation who ask us, ‘How do we preach one thing on Sunday, but then campaign for...

A person in San Antonio, Texas, who had previously tested negative twice for the coronavirus, and was released by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is now back in quarantine after a subsequent test came back positive. The individual, who was evacuated from Wuhan, China, to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio on a flight chartered by the State Department was released from the Texas Center for Infectious Disease, according to San Antonio's Mayor.

Two months after the outbreak of the coronavirus, #TrumpVirus began trending on Twitter. Why? Because it’s the only chance that the Democrats have of winning back the White House in 2020.

After the worst week on Wall Street since 2008, investors are waking up to the all-too-familiar news of more coronavirus cases worldwide, and falling global stocks. The second U.S. death from the virus was reported on Sunday. Asian and European stocks started Monday positively — as central banks around the world sparked hopes of interest-rate cuts. But they moved into the red after an OECD report warned that the virus economic impact was “severe” and putting “the world economy at risk.” U.S. futures followed suit on a volatile morning. → More >>>

Upstart socialist darling Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made her name in part with a signature policy package dubbed the “Green New Deal.” With an initial draft promising everything from free healthcare for all to eliminating cow farts, the version that Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey eventually introduced was only slightly less ridiculous. Don't forget, this resolution was co-sponsored by 2020 front-runner Sen. Bernie Sanders. He might regret that now: A new study just found that the “Green New Deal” would cost families in several swing states dearly. The report from the fiscally conservative Competitive Enterprise Institute analyzed 11 different states and...

"Men ought always to pray" (Luke 18:1, KJV). Prayer should never be limited to certain times, places, or circumstances. As a child I was taught to pray with my head bowed, eyes closed, and hands folded. Even as a young man I thought that was the only acceptable mode of prayer. In my seminary days I sang in a quartet that traveled to various churches throughout the United States. The first time I traveled with them we had a prayer meeting in the car, and the driver prayed with his eyes open. All of us were glad he did, but...
