FULL TITLE: 'We Are Living In A Totalitarian Nightmare,' Says Protester Freely Without Any Fear Of Government Retribution WASHINGTON, D.C.—During a recent string of protests in Washington, one protester told reporters that "we are living in a totalitarian nightmare just like in The Handmaid's Tale," making the statement with absolutely no possibility of the government kidnapping and torturing her for her outspokenness. The woman drew on her guaranteed free speech rights to state that "this government is like something out of a totalitarian dystopia," as police stood by guarding to ensure her and her fellow protesters' right to protest was...

(CNN)Just as Joe Biden -- and the rest of the 11 Democratic contenders -- were rounding the final turn in the fourth presidential debate on Tuesday night, a bombshell dropped. No, not on the stage in Westerville, Ohio. All the way back in Washington, DC, where reports detailing how much each of the candidates raised, spent and most importantly have left in the bank began to land at the Federal Election Commission. And the bombshell was this: Joe Biden, the former vice president of the United States and the 2020 Democratic front-runner from the day he entered the race officially...

Live Action and Live Action News frequently receive questions about the abortion issue. One of the most common is about how the United States track statistics on abortion — who’s getting them, how many they’re getting, and why they’re getting them. Below is information to help answer some of those questions. How abortion data is collected: There are two national groups that collect data on abortion, and there are a number of differences in the two reporting agencies. * The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) collects information the states provide, but due to a wide variety of state requirements on...

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because The Campaign Never Ends) It’s all just another day’s work for our fake news media. – In my weekly Tuesday afternoon radio spot on News Talk 93.1 FM in Montgomery, Alabama, hilarious host Greg Budell brought up the new Project Veritas video expose’ of CNN. Those undercover videos, recorded by a whistleblower employee who was fired on Monday, reveal all sorts of news-faking machinations that take place at the fakest fakety-fake fake news outlet of them all. A video released late Monday contains various clips of CNN President Jeff Zucker exposing an obvious personal...

Gamblers wagered a record-breaking $445 million on sports in New Jersey in September, the largest monthly total in the state since legal sports betting began in June 2018. Tuesday's release of figures came as the rapidly growing New Jersey sports betting market challenges Nevada for nationwide leadership of the industry. The two states have toggled back and forth in recent months in terms of who takes in more sports bets, but Nevada still has the highest monthly totals, including nearly $600 million in March, the largest monthly amount in U.S. history.

If House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is anything, she is the poster child for term limits. But because she’s been sucking up taxpayer money in salary and benefits for decades now, she knows how ‘the system’ works. In particular, while most of her Garbage Party caucus goes to sleep at night having dreams about impeaching President Trump, Pelosi (we hope) tosses and turns in angst and anguish because she knows what her voters don’t: There is no way she can get it done. And why? Because even among her own members she doesn’t have the support. She ain’t got the votes.

Mahatma Gandhi is revered across the world for his non-violent campaign for Indian independence and was nominated five times for the Nobel Peace Prize. But plans to unveil a statue in his memory in Manchester have sparked a backlash from a student leader who claims he was a 'virulently anti-black racist'. The 9ft statue has been donated to the city by the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, a spiritual mission based in Gandhi's ancestral homeland of Gujarat, following the Manchester Arena bombing which killed 22 people in 2017. It is due to be unveiled outside Manchester Cathedral next month, to 'spread...

Full header: Three Indiana Judges Face Discipline After Wild Night Ends With Fighting And Gun Shots Outside Strip Club This story comes from IndianaLawyer.com. The weekend of May 1, Adams, Jacobs, and Bell attended the Spring Judicial Conference. After checking into their hotel, the trio downed a few Seagram Escapes, some scotch, and eventually a few beers. They went around bar hopping. They ate dinner, had some wine, played some cornhole, and tossed a few game of darts. It was the type of stuff you'd expect to occur at bars, but perhaps not from this group. They had themselves a...

During the October 15, Democrat debate Robert “Beto†O’Rourke made clear that AR-15 owners who refuse to hand over their guns will have them taken away. O’Rourke reiterated his plan to use a government-mandated buyback to confiscate privately-owned AR-15s and AK-47s. In so doing, he claimed that each AR-15 and AK-47 in private hands is a “potential instrument of terror.â€CNN’s Anderson Cooper then asked O’Rourke how he plans to get people to hand over their rifles.  O’Rourke responded by explaining that he expects complains with the mandatory buybacks. He said, “I expect my fellow Americans to follow the law. The same...

On October 7, United States Customs and Border Protection agents discovered that the two men in a truck at an immigration checkpoint were Hondurans. A border patrol agent was hurt when “the driver accelerated” while agents sought to remove the men from the truck. The men drove away in the truck but were later captured. From the CBP press release: Agents referred the vehicle for a more extensive inspection, during which agents determined the two occupants were citizens of Honduras. As agents attempted to extract the subjects from the vehicle, the driver accelerated, injuring an agent. The driver and passenger...

Earlier this month, nearly 2 million Californians were hurt by a “planned” power shutoff by Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), a private utility company. The shutoff was part of a botched wildfire management strategy to prevent transmission lines neglected by the company for years from catching fire. Customers received only 24 hours’ notice for a shutoff that lasted up to four days, during which grocery stores sat empty, cleared of basic supplies, and schools were closed. The residents of Paradise, California, displaced just one year ago by massive fires that destroyed their town and killed dozens, found themselves without electricity...

Several weeks ago, I met up with a friend in New York who suggested we grab a bite at a Scottish bar in the West Village. He had booked the table through something called Seated, a restaurant app that pays users who make reservations on the platform. We ordered two cocktails each, along with some food. And in exchange for the hard labor of drinking whiskey, the app awarded us $30 in credits redeemable at a variety of retailers.

Hillary’s endorsement of Sybrina Fulton is no small thing. Rather, it is a significant piece in Hillary’s long history of promoting lies, hoaxes and the odious manipulation of events in order to advance her party’s political fortunes. That history ranges from Hillary’s trashing of women with whom her husband had affairs or had sexually assaulted, to preposterously claiming she’d come under sniper fire as First Lady while visiting Bosnia, to attempting to smear Donald Trump as an “agent of Russia” in her epic fail as a presidential candidate. I could go on, but we all know what a “congenital liar”...

Inside an otherwise innocuous court filing (full pdf below), General Mike Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell, files a motion to compel (MTC) in an effort to gain discovery of the content from two cell phones belonging to Joseph Mifsud. [Hat Tip Techno Fog] Apparently, according to the information within the filing, the DOJ has somehow gained custody of two cell phones belonging to Mr. Mifsud: The filing notes that “western intelligence” likely tasked Mr. Mifsud against General Flynn as early as 2014 in order to set up “connections with certain Russians” for later use against him. Essentially, an intelligence entrapment scheme....
