California Officials declare Ham Radio no longer a benefit; Demands Ham radio repeater infrastructure to be Removed The People’s Republic of California is at it again; through unelected state officials, California is severing ties to ham radio repeater owners throughout the state, jeopardizing the lives of millions of Californians who depend on these repeaters  to operate during emergencies. Last month, repeater operators were sent emails telling them the State would no longer allow them to operate repeaters on public land without paying substantial rental fees. In the letter sent by CAL FIRE, the state claims Ham operators no longer provide a benefit...

Germany is willing to contribute more to NATO's running costs as long as other allies also step up to help reduce the United States' share of funding, German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer said on Friday. President Donald Trump has long accused European allies, especially Germany, the biggest economy in Europe, of taking U.S. security guarantees for granted and says they need to spend much more on their own defense. With a meeting of NATO leaders looming in December, some allies now see reform of financing for the U.S.-led military alliance as a way to preempt another round of criticism from...

Since Donald Trump’s election in 2016, the mainstream media has shed its once-noble mission — the pursuit of the truth — and instead adopted a new purpose: to take down the president. In an excerpt from her new book, “Resistance at All Costs: How Trump Haters are Breaking America,” out Tuesday, KIMBERLEY STRASSEL examines how far the press will go in its relentless crusade . . . Last week The Washington Post revealed the alarming news that House Democrats were considering having their anonymous “whistleblower” testify from a remote location, and in disguise. Just as shocking as the details of this plan...

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) revealed in a new interview that House Democrats have discussed jailing allies of the president who do not comply with congressional subpoenas, an escalation of the House's efforts to force White House compliance with an impeachment inquiry. Tlaib told Deadline Detroit that such an action, known as inherent contempt, would be "uncharted territory" for Congress but added that "serious discussions" about taking the step have occurred within the Democratic caucus. “There have been actual serious conversations about what the logistics would look like... if we did have to force someone through a court order to come...

Retired Lieutenant Colonel Anthony “Tony” Shaffer joined One America News Network to discuss the current and ongoing attacks against President Donald Trump from inside the US government. The latest attack by the shadow government is by highly trained intelligence officials in coordination with Democrat Party operatives and the fake news media surrounding President Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian President. We know now since President Zelensky has defended President Trump twice already that there was nothing unusual, unethical or illegal about Trump’s call with Zelensky in late July. However, the Democrats, their deep state operatives and their liberal fake news...

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) slammed The New York Times' feature of her Saturday afternoon. The Democratic presidential candidate tweeted "As if to prove my point, NYT just published a “greatest hits” smear piece." "All your favorite hits in one article! These are the folks who will be acting as the “neutral” questioners/moderators of Tuesday’s debate lol," Gabbard continued. The Times' article is titled "What, Exactly, Is Tulsi Gabbard Up To?" with the sub head reading "As she injects chaos into the 2020 Democratic primary by accusing her own party of “rigging” the election, an array of alt-right internet stars, white...

As House Democrats ponder the politics of impeaching Donald J. Trump, they are weighing the possible outcomes. An impeachment inquiry could weaken the president before next year's election and give the White House back to the Democrats, or it could backfire, the way the GOP's effort to oust Bill Clinton did in 1998. But there's a third option: impeachment could succeed. As a senior staffer on the House Judiciary Committee framed the dilemma, "What if we're left with President Pence?" That scenario has seemed far-fetched — until this week. At the moment there don't seem to be enough GOP senators...

Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards, a Democrat, will face a Republican candidate in a runoff after he failed to get more than 50 percent of the vote in Saturday's "jungle primary" in his GOP-friendly state. President Donald Trump rallied on Friday in the state to support the Republican candidates on the eve of the election, calling Edwards "a liberal Democrat who has sold you out." The jungle primary meant that instead of top candidates of each party facing off one-on-one, any number of candidates from any part could compete for a final against the top two. On Friday Trump asked...

Rain or shine, cold or warm, false information or not, the Columbus Day parade will take place Saturday morning in Bloomfield. The event was never in question. But there was certainly some confusion. That’s because someone went around Bloomfield’s business district this week passing out flyers falsely claiming that the parade had been canceled. The flyer, which included an official Pittsburgh Columbus Day parade logo, said “it has been brought to our attention that this is an offensive holiday. “Columbus’ arrival to America caused the mass murder of Native American people,” the letter read. “There are plenty of other ways...

For the residents of Canton, Mississippi, faith in their elected officials must be at an all-time low. The city has been facing seemingly endless election scandals in the past couple of years. Five local officials—including an alderman, the fire chief, and the city clerk—have been convicted of a variety of crimes stemming from their efforts to rig a 2017 municipal election, and can never seek public office again. It’s disturbing that so many elected officials, entrusted to represent the people and improve the community, were instead able to corrupt the electoral system in the name of power and personal gain....

A man walked 351 miles from an Indianapolis suburb to Wisconsin to have sex with a 14-year-old girl, the U.S. Attorney's office said. [snip] Unbeknownst to Jenkins, 'Kylee' was actually a Winnebago County Sheriff's Deputy assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. When he arrived in Winnebago County, Jenkins was arrested by local deputies and a special agent from the FBI. For his crime, Jenkins faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison and a maximum life sentence if convicted.

“Jesus said to him, ‘Go; your son lives.’ The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and started off. As he was now going down, his slaves met him, saying that his son was living. So he inquired of them the hour when he began to get better. Then they said to him, ‘Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.’ So the father knew that it was at that hour in which Jesus said to him, ‘Your son lives’; and he himself believed and his whole household. This is again a second sign that Jesus performed...

A black Texas woman was shot and killed by a white Fort Worth police officer who was called to the woman's home for a welfare check, authorities said. In a statement, the department said it received a call at 2:25 a.m. reporting an open front door at a residence. Responding officers searched the perimeter of the house and saw a person standing inside near the window, according to police. "Perceiving a threat, the officer drew his duty weapon and fired one shot, striking the person inside the residence," the department stated. In body camera video released by police, two officers...

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom has approved some of the strictest gun laws and gun seizure powers in the U.S. Friday, signing into law 15 different pieces of gun legislation. Newsom has reinforced a “red flag” law that enables educators, employers and co-workers to inform on gun owners and request that a restraining order be placed on them — if they are believed to be a danger to themselves or society, according to the Associated Press. The bill was deemed to be to extreme even for Newsom’s predecessor, former Gov. Jerry Brown, who was also an enthusiastic advocate of gun...

Parents need to understand how white supremacists prey on teen boys, so they can intervene. Raising teenagers can be terrifying. Our squishy little babies become awkward hormonal creatures who question our authority at every turn. I expected that. What I didn’t predict was that my sons’ adolescence would include being drawn to the kind of online content that right-wing extremists use to recruit so many young men. The first sign was a seemingly innocuous word, used lightheartedly: “triggered.” As my 11- and 14-year-old sons and their friends talked and bantered — phones in hand, as always — in the back...
