Former Vice President Al Gore on Monday said a controversy surrounding a whistleblower complaint and President Donald Trump's conversations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gives "new impetus" to calls for impeachment proceedings. In an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour outside of the United Nations, Gore said "there is no evidence ... of any credible accusation against (Biden)." "The facts being laid out on President Trump's conversation with the head of Ukraine must be investigated thoroughly," he continued. "And this latest accusation, like some of the others, falls into a rare category. The only remedy is an impeachment investigation."

Via the Federalist: In the media’s efforts to tie President Donald Trump with its latest conspiracy theory, CNN skipped an entire section of the released and unredacted transcript of a phone call to charge Trump with requesting a favor he never asked for. Below is text from the transcript of the July phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the center of the latest media outrage cycle. Conservative radio talk show Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday that Democrats are already experiencing "blowback" for taking aim against President Trump, including their push for impeachment following allegations concerning the president's phone call with the president of Ukraine. "Why is Trump at 50 percent, up to 53 now in Rasmussen? The blowback is happening. They just don’t see it," Limbaugh said on his radio show Wednesday, citing recent numbers in a poll often cited by the president. Democrats initiated an impeachment inquiry Tuesday, following the whistleblower's complaint that Trump had improperly pressured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former Vice President...

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) said Wednesday that the partial transcript of President Trump's call with Ukraine's president released by the Trump administration doesn't show a "compelling" case for impeachment. "Most people reading through that transcript are not going to find that extremely compelling cause to throw out a president that won an election in 2016," the Democratic presidential candidate told Hill.TV during an appearance on "Rising."

Dostoevsky once said, "If God didn't exist, everything is possible." There is wisdom in his observation since, without God, there would be nothing to serve as the ultimate reference for human acts. The eternal law that God established in the universe is inscribed on the human heart. Thus, everyone at all times and places knows right and wrong. Take away God, and all will fall into the most barbaric savagery. Modern secular society officially denies that God exists. Thus, society comes to accept the cruelest practices by breaking down the natural repugnance that comes from transgressing God’s law. Abortion and...

Children as young as six are being taught about touching or ‘stimulating’ their own genitals as part of classes that will become compulsory in hundreds of primary schools. Some parents believe the lessons – part of a controversial new sex and relationships teaching programme called All About Me – are ‘sexualising’ their young children. One couple told last night how they were so disturbed they withdrew their sons from lessons at a school where the programme is already being taught. All About Me is being rolled out across 241 primaries by Warwickshire County Council and could be adopted by other...

With bugs, algae and other resource-efficient foods we could feed one million people on Mars within a century of arriving there. Scientists even invented a martian diet. Cannon and colleagues modeled the food needs of a human population on Mars that grows to one million over about a hundred Earth years through a combination of immigration and reproduction. Though the settlement would need to import a lot of food at the start, it could transition to an entirely Martian-grown diet in about a century with the right food choices, they found. The major limiting factor is space — or rather,...

Never have we been so connected and informed. We have at our fingertips a world of knowledge covering every possible field. We can easily communicate with others all over the world at little cost. We should have advanced immensely in speaking with others. Everything should be in place for long stimulating conversations about every possible topic. Or so it would seem. However, we are not talking to others. Worse yet, it appears many people don’t even know how to speak to one another. We are all wired up and have nothing to say. Many have lost the art of conversation....

The new leader of Democrats in the Senate says Donald Trump is being "really dumb" for picking a fight with intelligence officials, suggesting they have ways to strike back, after the president-elect speculated Tuesday that his "so-called" briefing about Russian cyberattacks had been delayed in order to build a case. "Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you," said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer Tuesday evening on MSNBC after host Rachel Maddow informed him that intelligence sources told NBC news that the briefing had not been...

Dear friends: I'm having a computer problem I would like some advice/help on. Please be aware that this problem has been ongoing for several weeks, so please don't advise me to reboot or clear out the cache since I've done that several times and it makes no difference whatsoever. And please don't ask if my computer is plugged in or turned on. I don't understand why cruelly having fun at the expense of someone with an issue is so popular here. Daily Motion is an excellent site for watching old movies and TV shows that YouTube won't allow. I used...
