If you’re a layperson, this is the way you probably think of generics: They’re the exact same products in different packaging... In October the Food and Drug Administration took a highly unusual step: It declared that a generic drug it had previously approved — a version of the popular antidepressant Wellbutrin — was not in fact “bioequivalent” to the name-brand version. The FDA withdrew its approval. ...Generic drugs diverge from the originals far more than most of us believe. For starters, it’s not as if the maker of the original pharmaceutical hands over its manufacturing blueprint when its patent runs...

Recently, Saudi oilfields were struck by drones and set ablaze. The disruption of the oil supply is set to have an economic impact: LONDON, Sept 15 (Reuters) - The oil market will rally by $5-10 per barrel when it opens on Monday and may spike to as high as $100 per barrel if Saudi Arabia fails to quickly resume oil supply lost after attacks over the weekend, traders and analysts said. Attacks on two plants at the heart of the kingdom's oil industry on Saturday knocked out more than half of Saudi crude output, or 5% of global supply. Industry...

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) says the Bill of Rights in the Constitution “does more harm than good in today’s society. When I see how people are abusing the Second Amendment. No telling what they’d do with the First Amendment. I think there would be a strong support against the Bill of Rights. I run into people every day who would like to see so much of those guarantees uprooted.” The whip said he was “pleased to see such overwhelming support for severely restricting the right to bear arms from all of our Democratic presidential candidates. This unanimity stems...

[Catholic Caucus] Disintegrating Church: Germans Tell Vatican Off Disintegrating Church: Germans Tell Vatican Off Few people know that the rich German bishops are organizing their own Amazon Synod which they call “Synodaler Weg” – “Synodal Way.” Its goal is to push for so-called reforms. However, days ago, Cardinal Marc Ouellet, the head of the Congregation for Bishops, timidly wrote to the Germans telling them that their “Synodal Way” was dealing with matters that were not up for discussion in a particular Church, but touched matters that regarded the universal Church. However, the German bishops were all but amused by Ouellet’s...

Chief Elizabeth Warren, who lies constantly, has a plan to end corruption. Repeating her anti-government rhetoric, in a piece titled, END WASHINGTON CORRUPTION, Warren writes that big insurance companies and hospital conglomerates put profits ahead of the health and well-being of the American people, and dump piles of money into political campaigns and lobbying efforts to block any move toward Medicare for All. This comes from a woman who has no problem with unions and Planned Parenthood sinking a fortune into Democratic campaigns, including hers. She has no problem with their lobbyists or those of far-left groups. In order to...

Well today I finally got around to reassessing my newspaper needs. My state paper, The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette as of next month goes total digital. So I now have to get used to reading the paper on the IPad. With that coming I decided to reevaluate the other papers I take. I get The Wall Street Journal and USA Today. Well for awhile I just have not been reading the other papers much. USA Today used to be a fun paper to read and I had read it from the very beginning, but it changed it's format, got skinnier and become...

As I drove my 1998 Mustang GT out of the garage, it started raining. Pulling into the street, the engine got louder, a sound I’d only heard a few times this year. The radio tried to compete with the loud V8 and played Coldplay’s Hurts Like Heaven: ‘On every street, every car, every surface a name. Tonight the streets are ours.’ I knew today would be an awesome day. Except for a few years in the 60s, Ford did not sell the Mustang in Europe for 50 years. If you wanted one, you had to import one yourself and get...

Appearing on Good Morning Britain today, Sinead said the pair clashed after her worldwide success with his song Nothing Compares 2U. When quizzed about their relationship on the show, she said: "We did meet once but we didn't get on very well, we tried to beat each other up. "Well, it was more he tried to beat...

Tuesday's election will not only be a contest between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Blue and White leader Benny Gantz but also between their American pollsters. John McLaughlin stood beside Netanyahu in a video he posted on Friday explaining why Otzma Yehudit would not cross the 3.25% electoral threshold. In explaining why he was so sure, Netanyahu pointed at McLaughlin and said that he was the pollster for US president Donald Trump. Blue and White's American strategist Joel Benenson also made the news this past week, when Netanyahu accused him of being behind a false report in Politico accusing Israel...

Trump has been very bad for Russian and Saudi business. By implementing policies that helped expand American oil and natural gas production, Trump has indirectly attacked their economies. Under Trump, US oil production has exploded to unprecedented levels. It is now above 12 million barrels per day, which is the most in the world. More importantly, almost every prominent Democrat has promised—indirectly, of course—to be very good for Russian and Saudi business by enacting policies and implementing executive actions that will drastically raise the value of their industries. For Russia and Saudi Arabia, the CNN climate town hall last week...

VIDEO Beto O'Rourke is not only enamored with the idea of gun confiscation but he also likes the idea of taking people's homes, especially if it helps his wealthy father-in-law who has been bankrolling his life and career. In this video, we see the reaction of low income El Paso residents to the redevelopment plan pushed by Bill Sanders via his son-in-law Beto to confiscate homes in El Paso in order to steamroller his real estate deal.

Buckingham Palace aides are advising the Queen's guests not to mention Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their audience with Her Majesty, it is claimed. With the Duke and Duchess of Sussex grabbing headlines around the globe each day, many household guests are keen to discuss the young Royals with the monarch. But flunkies have allegedly begun to clamp down on this popular line of questioning and are informally steering visitors on to more 'polite' conversation topics, it is claimed.

I didn’t watch the last Democratic presidential primary debates because I figured that without Tulsi Gabbard in there shaking things up it would be a boring, vapid parade of insubstantial verbal foam, and I love myself too much to go through such a horrible ordeal. By all accounts my prediction was correct, but I did miss one thing that’s been making the rounds in video clips for the last couple of days which I find absolutely bizarre. [Snip] Most of you have probably heard about Biden’s infamous "record player" comment by now, but for those of you who missed it,...

Boris Johnson dramatically pulled out of a press conference in Luxembourg today after protests and an extraordinary spat with counterpart Xavier Bettel. Protesters carrying messages including 'Bog Off Boris' first jeered the PM after showdown talks with EU commission president Jean-Claude Juncker over lunch at a restaurant. And Mr Johnson then faced cat-calls from a crowd including British ex-pats as he arrived for a meeting with Luxembourg counterpart Xavier Bettel. The stormy atmosphere led to Mr Johnson requesting the press call be held outside following their private discussions. It was originally planned to be held just yards from the demonstrations....
