During a recent morning surf at a town beach here, Andy Jacob spotted a dark shadow in the water just a few feet away. He assumed it was a gray seal because they are everywhere these days—until he got a better view. “As clear as day, it was a great white shark,” said the 40-year-old Wellfleet resident, who had been surfing around the same spot where a great white killed a boogie boarder last September. He said he warned others nearby and that a lifeguard temporarily ordered people out of the water, standard protocol after a sighting. “Any person could...

Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) both reportedly shared an antisemitic cartoon by an artist who participated in Iran’s Holocaust denial contest on their respective Instagram accounts on Friday, according to Forward editor Batya Ungar-Sargon. Ungar-Sargon noticed that Omar and Tlaib had each shared the image on their Instagram “stories.” Both were barred from entering Israel Thursday because of their support for the “boycott, divestment, sanctions” (BDS) movement. Tlaib then applied for a humanitarian visa so she could visit her grandmother in a Palestinian village, promising not to promote boycotts of Israel while traveling there. Her request was...

Actor Peter Fonda delivered a profane Twitter rant against President Trump’s immigration policies Wednesday morning, saying the president’s 12-year-old son Barron should be taken from his mother and placed in a “cage with pedophiles.” Mr. Fonda, the younger brother of actress and liberal activist Jane Fonda, was responding to Tuesday’s joint White House press briefing with Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Homeland Security Secretary Kristjen Nielsen. In a now-deleted tweet, the “Easy Rider” star said Ms. Nielson should be put in a cage naked and “whipped by passersby while being filmed.” In subsequent tweets that have also since been deleted, Mr....

On August 13th, 2019, I went to Tecate to see, if they had started building the planned new fence there. Tecate is about 20 miles east of San Diego/Tijuana. There is a contract with SLSCO Ltd. to build four miles of 30-foot-high bollard fence to replace the old, dilapidated landing-plate fence. I found that they had already started building the fence two months earlier. About a mile and a half of the fence had already been constructed. SLSCO Ltd is based in Texas. This company is receiving hundreds of millions of dollars to build border fence in California, which might...

Dressed in a white blouse and cream sun hat, Meghan, 38, was spotted cradling the couple’s three-month-old son Archie as she left the plane which is registered to the luxury firm NetJets.

We all now know that Representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib will not be going to Israel. Did Israel exercise good judgment in denying them entry? Absolutely. Omar's and Tlaib's support for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement reveal that they in fact do not view Israel as an ally of the United States, do not want to promote true peace, and were seeking to use their trip as a Trojan horse to promote an anti-Israel agenda. Their failed trip stood in direct opposition to America's best interest. Omar and Tlaib Support BDS, Which Supports the Destruction of IsraelOmar...

A fire department official in Manchester, New Hampshire, has confirmed President Donald Trump’s claim to have smashed attendance records at his rally at the SNHU Arena last Thursday, contradicting fake news about “empty seats.” Trump proclaimed last Friday that his rally, which filled the 11,700-seat arena and left thousands more supporters outside, had broken Elton John’s attendance record for the venue.

Some of you may be asking why I call it a ‘death’ instead of a ‘murder’ or ‘suicide.’ As a thinker and a writer, I simply have not reached a conclusion on what I believe at this time. If I told you I am leaning toward ‘suicide,’ you would probably be disappointed in me. Epstein knew he was a dead man walking waiting to be ‘hit.’ He was found two weeks prior to his actual death passed out with bruises around his neck. He told the authorities someone had tried to kill him. In fact, a police officer convicted of...

I grew up in the countryside about 2 hours from Quito where I lived with my grandmother. I moved to the city where I met my husband and we had two kids. He was a mechanic and I worked odd jobs to help with the bills. My jobs always involved something to do with tourists from other countries. I would hear about a place called America and wanted to someday go see it for myself. I never wanted my kids to struggle or experience what I did growing up and knew that education was the way out. We placed my...

The brother of Afghan Taliban leader Haibatullah Akhunzada has been killed in a powerful bomb blast at a mosque in southwestern Pakistan, Taliban sources have confirmed. A senior Taliban source said that Hafiz Ahmadullah was the imam of the Khair Ul Madarais mosque in the town of Kuchlak, on the outskirts of Quetta, that came under attack during Friday prayers. At least four people were killed in the bomb explosion, according to police. "It is true that the brother of Akhunzada, Hafiz Ahmadullah, has been killed in the explosion," the source told Al Jazeera, adding that two of Haibatullah's nephews...

“‘No one puts a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and a worse tear results. Nor do people put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the wine pours out and the wineskins are ruined; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved’” (Matthew 9:16–17). Whenever repairing clothing or attaching a new patch to an old garment, the tailor or seamstress must be careful to follow particular guidelines and avoid certain mistakes. In like manner, believers cannot combine outmoded and external traditions of...

Officials at Tyndall AFB, Fla., on Aug. 5 sent Congress a list of projects the Air Force will tackle to rebuild the Panhandle base destroyed by Hurricane Michael last fall, the 325th Fighter Wing’s commander said Aug. 14. Rebuilding about half of the buildings that were damaged is estimated to cost about $3 billion over five to seven years, the wing’s commander Col. Brian Laidlaw said at a Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship hearing in the Florida Panhandle. Air Force Magazine reported in April that new military construction would cost about $2.5 billion, about half the cost of...

Buddy Fletcher is so broke he can’t afford his divorce from Ellen Pao, The Post has learned. The former high-flying hedge fund manager — who once rubbed elbows with Lauren Bacall and Roberta Flack — has no lawyer and is representing himself in a divorce from Pao, the former interim CEO of Reddit. He claims in court papers that the divorce, which is ongoing, left him “homeless” at one point, including a period of living in his car. The couple — known as much for Pao’s Silicon Valley gender discrimination claims as Fletcher’s financial downfall — have been slowly working...

Britain will face shortages of fuel, food and medicine if it leaves the European Union without a transition deal, jamming ports and requiring a hard border in Ireland, official government documents leaked to the Sunday Times show. The Times said the forecasts compiled by the Cabinet Office set out the most likely aftershocks of a no-deal Brexit rather than the worst case scenarios. Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s office said it did not comment on leaked documents.

The death of Jeffrey Epstein in the MCC federal jail has touched off no end of speculation. While the medical examiner’s conclusion indicating it was suicide has been made public, the report itself has not been released. Many don’t believe it. In many ways Epstein’s death reminds me of Sherlock Holmes’s mystery “Adventure in a Sealed Room” where a trained monkey was the culprit after lots of clues were sifted through. An online friend “Rocco,” a prison guard, agrees with me. He’s seen too much of this himself and knows how quickly and easily prisoners have killed themselves in locked...

This article is an updated version of the article published in January of 2017. Since then, the CDC corrected the number of fatal firearm accidents for 2014, the error being found and pointed out by Dr. John Lott. The rate of unintended firearm fatalities has been reduced by 94% since 1933.It is not simple to determine the rate of fatal firearm accidents in the United States over the long term. In the chart above, three sources were used. The first...

When accused pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein died over the weekend, the president of the United States retweeted a far-right conspiracy theory that claimed the Clintons murdered him.On the fifth anniversary of Michael Brown’s death at the hands of a police officer, Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris repeated false rumors about Brown’s death — specifically the now-proven lie he was killed mercilessly while attempting to surrender with his hands up. When the Miss America pageant decided to drop its swimsuit competition, Gretchen Carlson described it as a “cultural revolution.†The New York Times described it as an effort to “redefine its...
