Funny how this slipped our minds in the discussion of the rat problem in Baltimore: "Bush Campaign 'Rats' Subliminal Message" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NPKxhfFQMs Once again life imitates art (even if art this time is a past campaign commercial)!

A giant cannibalistic parrot that stood more than three feet tall and lived in New Zealand 19 million years ago has been dubbed 'squawkzilla'. Scientists reckon the animal, which is officially known as Heracles inexpectatus, feasted on other parrots to nourish its massive frame. The tree-dwelling creature is believed to have used its enormous beak to feed on the flesh of its own species. It is thought to be the largest parrot ever and rivals the famed dodo in its bulk, and towers above the current flightless inhabitants of New Zealand, the kakapo.

Fully automatic guns are illegal, but the ban on semi-automatics (of the kind used in the Orlando shootings) and related ammunition expired in 2004. That restriction should be revived; nobody needs what many call an assault rifle to hunt game or shoot clay pigeons. At the least, the size of the magazines should be limited, which could lessen the carnage of mass shootings.

I wonder if this will exhaust the illusion of Democrats as the purveyors of social justice and the political home of societal change:Trash and rat sightings map of Baltimore:Poop map sightings of San Francisco:If the reality of living in the midst of trash, rats and people pooping in your streets isn’t enough to exhaust the basic illusion of liberalism I wonder what will.Let it be noted that even Mr. Fukuyama, who prematurely announced the end of history in 1992 as it appeared that Western liberalism would prevail on the world stage, has reexamined his premise and found it lacking.History...

Everyone needs to understand what this is. – We all need to comprehend and digest the full and utter mendacity of what the Democrats and their toadies in the fake news media are trying to use these very convenient mass shootings to achieve right now. They are attempting to brand the President of the United States and anyone who supports him as “white nationalists” as a means of irreparably damaging his re-election campaign. Two Democrat contenders, Cory Booker and Julian Castro, through his brother and campaign manager Joaquin Castro, gave up that game yesterday. Booker used his New Hampshire campaign...

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot criticized White House adviser Ivanka Trump on Tuesday over the first daughter's tweets about weekend violence in the city. In a pair of tweets, Trump tweeted about the city's gun violence epidemic in light of the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio. Chicago reported 55 people shot, seven fatally, over the weekend. “As we grieve over the evil mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, let us not overlook that Chicago experienced its deadliest weekend of the year. With 7 dead and 52 wounded near a playground in the Windy City — and...

After winning last year's King of 2 Miles competition – a three-day Extreme Long Range match featuring some of the best shooters from around the world – returning to compete this year was very exciting and highly anticipated. Knowing that no previous winning team has ever made the finale the next year definitely added an extra level of pressure. My team at Manners Composite Stocks decided to take a similar approach as we did last year. Running raw horsepower, simple strategy and minimal gear is easy to manage on the clock and makes for easy transitions between targets. I had...

This should be easy. We're all on the same side. When a white supremacist terrorist shoots up a Walmart filled with innocents in El Paso, we should all be on the same side. We should be mourning together; we should be fighting together. Instead, we're fighting one another. We're fighting one another for one simple reason: Too many on the political left have become accustomed to castigating the character of those who disagree with the left on policy. Favor tougher border controls? This puts you on the side of the white supremacist terrorist. Believe in Second Amendment rights? You're a...

An Alabama woman burned a man’s face with a pot of hot grease when he allegedly broke into her home last Thursday and pulled a gun on her, police said. Officers said they responded to a domestic violence call to find Larondrick Macklin, 31, suffering from burns across his face. An investigation determined Macklin was the "primary aggressor in the altercation" and the woman acted in self-defense, police said. He allegedly entered the woman’s residence with a firearm before she threw a pot of hot grease at him, the Decatur Police Department said in a statement. Macklin was taken to...

<p>In the wake of a trio of deadly massacres, the studio is evaluating its strategy for the R-rated Blumhouse satire in which elites stalk "deplorables." "Did anyone see what our ratfucker-in-chief just did?" one character asks early in the screenplay for The Hunt, a Universal Pictures thriller set to open Sept. 27. Another responds: "At least The Hunt's coming up. Nothing better than going out to the Manor and slaughtering a dozen deplorables."</p>

Democrat Congressman Joaquin Castro, represents a district that encompasses San Antonio, Texas. Using his twitter account today, Representative Castro posted a list of local donors to the Donald Trump campaign directing his followers to target those ordinary citizens. [Tweet here] Pay close attention to this current method of political targeting; and overlay the law of unintended consequences to the current gun control discussion surrounding “redflag” laws. Ultimately what far-left Joaquin Castro is doing is exactly what will happen when arbitrary rules of defining people for targeting are pushed into law. History is full of examples where this exact process was...

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is coming under intense pressure to take quick action on gun legislation in the wake of two mass shootings. Democrats and gun control advocates want the GOP leader to bring the Senate back into session during the August recess to vote on gun-related legislation. The chamber is currently scheduled to be out of Washington until Sept. 9. Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and GOP Rep. Peter King (N.Y.) on Tuesday cast McConnell as the primary roadblock to a House-passed gun background check bill making it to President Trump’s desk.

Three front-runner Democratic presidential candidates in the last month have aligned themselves with a pastor who says being gay is 'enough to send you to hell.' Senators Kamala Harris and Cory Booker attended services at Reverend Robert Fowler Sr.'s Baptist church over the weekend and independent Senator Bernie Sanders held a town hall at the church last month. Although it's not clear if any of the candidates, who are all ardent supporters of LGBTQ rights, were aware of Fowler's comments on homosexuality, his position on it is no secret.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson claimed on his show "'Tucker Carlson Tonight" Tuesday that white supremacy is a "hoax" and "actually not a real problem in America." A racist manifesto complaining about a "Hispanic invasion" was posted online by a writer identified as the suspected gunman before the El Paso mass shooting Saturday. Trump condemned racism and white supremacy Monday during an address to the nation after the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton over the weekend. "These sinister ideologies must be defeated," he said. "Hate has no place in America." In his segment, Carlson dismissed the issue of...

"Queens district attorney candidate Tiffany Cabán conceded defeat Tuesday night — six weeks after the Democratic primary election that pitted her against the establishment-backed Queens Borough President Melinda Katz." “We terrified the Democratic establishment,” Cabán told her supporters at a party in Astoria. “We showed [that] you can run on a boldly decarceral platform,” she added referring to her criminal justice reforms. “You don’t have to play by the old rules.”

Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX) said Monday on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' that President Trump is "not welcome" to come to the town while they are in mourning. It is shocking to me that he is so utterly self-aware. And this is why from my perspective he is not welcome here. He should not come here while we are in mourning." ZINGER OF A COMEBACK: Ms. Escobar is not the arbiter of who is and is not welcome anywhere other than her own home. Her statement is an expression of egotism, and of a type of self-righteousness that says, "If you don't...

Congressional Republicans, under intense pressure to respond to this weekend’s massacres, are coalescing around legislation to help law enforcement take guns from those who pose an imminent danger — a measure that, if signed into law, would be the most significant gun control legislation enacted in 20 years.Senator John Thune, Republican of South Dakota, said he was “confident Congress will be able to find common ground on the so-called red flag issue.” Such “red flag” laws might not be as momentous — or controversial — as the now-expired assault weapons ban or the instant background check system, both of which...

Liberals, listen to yourselves ! Don't any of you believe your Maker ? In case you don't know, or haven't read it recently, here it is again: Either make the tree good, and his fruit good;or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt:for the tree is known by his fruit. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things ?for out of the abundance of the heartthe mouth speaketh.A good manout of the good treasure of the heartbringeth forth good things: and an evil manout of the evil treasurebringeth forth evil things. But I say unto...
