A few years ago, a politician was attempting to make the case for a mandatory gun storage law. On stage, he tried to show how easy it was to unlock a gun from being locked, with the device of his choice. It was a live broadcast. He fumbled and fumbled. I am sure that video is out there, but I cannot find it. Does anyone else remember this video, and any other details about it? It seems to have been consigned to the memory hole. Maybe it was before YouTube?

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Maxim Akimov on Monday called a draft law on limiting foreign ownership in major Russian information technology companies to 20% "destructive". "The competitiveness of the Russian economy is largely determined by the competitiveness of our companies," Akimov said in a statement. "And this draft bill undermines stability and competitiveness of the companies, giving all tech market players wrong signals." The draft bill was submitted to the State Duma on Friday. FRANKFURT — A 40-year-old Eritrean man allegedly killed an eight-year-old boy on Monday by pushing him in front of an oncoming train at Frankfurt’s main train station in Germany, police said.
