The food and drink are on another level, from the signature drink, Fizu, upon arrival (sparkling sake, cucumber, and lemon oil), to my personal favourite, the Original Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Dynamite Shrimp. It is a little spicy but maintains a perfect balance. I also had the zingy Orange Peel Lamb Chop. There is a great dessert selection for those with a sweet tooth like myself. The Gorgonzola Cheesecake is topped with sour cream and gorgonzola crumb which gives it a slight tang but is nicely balanced out with candied walnuts and a delicious mascarpone filled port poached pear....

Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer called the idea of impeaching President Trump "a catastrophic mistake" on Thursday, warning that there's no evidence Trump has committed a crime. "Collusion is unseemly but it ain't a crime," Krauthammer said in an interview with Fox News's Tucker Carlson. "You've got a political establishment, mostly Democratic but there are some Republicans, that would like to see him taken out of office." ... He stressed that he doesn't defend Trump, but only thinks that impeachment is a mistake. "Again, I think he's unfit," Krauthammer said, "but that's not the grounds for removal."

A memo drafted almost 12 years after the assassination of John F. Kennedy reveals that a number of top intelligence workers believed that there may have been Castro-Cuban involvement in the fatal shooting of the president. That argument is based largely on the six-day trip that Lee Harvey Oswald took to Mexico just two months before the assassination, which is detailed for the first time in the 26-page memo. The assassination may have been carried out in retaliation to the attempts the CIA had made on Castro's life argues the memo, with Oswald possibly deciding it was crucial to murder...

According to Yonhap News Agency, South Korean Defense Minister Song Young-moo said nuclear-powered submarines could be considered to counter the threat from North Korean submarines. South Korea Considering Nuclear-Powered Submarine for ROK Navy KSS-III Batch I is a 3000 tons SSK submarine project fitted with 6x VLS (vertical launch systems) Asked about the need to build nuclear-powered submarines in the face of the growing military threat from the North, Song said that the ministry is "ready to review" it. When President Trump’s policy adviser Stephen Miller stepped to the podium of the White House briefing room on Wednesday to defend a plan for reducing levels of legal immigration, Jim Acosta of CNN was aghast and let everyone know it. Put aside that Acosta believed it was his role as a reporter to argue one side of a hot-button political issue (this is how journalism works in 2017). The exchange illustrated how advocates of high levels of immigration are often the ones who — despite their self-image as the rational bulwark against runaway populism — rely on an ignorant emotionalism...

PISCATAWAY - An $80 million modern manufacturing plant being built in Piscataway will bring 120 jobs to the area and new life to an abandoned chemical factory, officials said Thursday. Cascades, Inc. produces, converts and markets packaging and tissue products that are composed mainly of recycled fibers. The new state-of-the-art, 400,000-square-foot facility will manufacture corrugated packaging products at the new facility, according to a release from the company. Piscataway Mayor Brian C. Wahler said it's an important development for the town. "Not only are we getting an old site back on the tax rolls, but we'll be gaining a tremendous...

It’s always interesting reading when someone smug and sanctimonious writes a clueless diatribe about another group of people being smug and sanctimonious. So when I saw that an economist for Moody’s and Forbes had written an op-ed calling self-reliant homesteaders “delusional,” I knew I’d be in for some misinformed hilarity. The article, entitled, “Dear Homesteaders, Self-Reliance Is a Delusion” was published a couple of days ago on the Forbes website. You’ll be forewarned that the article won’t be deep in the first paragraph, when the author presents his claim to knowledge about self-reliant living comes from the fact that he...

Heading to Canada is one of the only options seen by many of the 50,000 Haitians who've been living under temporary protection status in the U.S. — but many don't know they face deportation here, too, should their asylum claim be rejected. The temporary protection status for Haitians in the U.S. granted after the 2010 earthquake is set to expire in January. The Department of Homeland Security considers Haiti to be a safe country now, and it's warned that the U.S. doesn't intend to renew that status, prompting the deluge of asylum seekers crossing into Canada. "There is a major...

In a world of bad actors, one of the “baddest” of all is the Yemen-based al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), which the CIA once branded “the most dangerous regional node in the global jihad.” It masterminded the bombing of the USS Cole in 2000; nearly blew up a U.S. passenger jet flying into Detroit on Christmas Day, 2009; brought down a UPS cargo plane in 2010; and sponsored the 2015 attack on the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris, killing 11 and wounding another 11. All of which raises an embarrassing question: Why is the United States supporting...

During the last year, the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Indian Navy (IN) confirmed what must have been the worst kept secret in New Delhi: that the Tejas Light Combat Aircraft, for all its achievements, was unsuitable as a strike-fighter for their near-term modernisation requirements. Where the IAF was concerned, the request for information (RFI) for a new single-engine fighter issued in the United States, Russia, and Sweden in October 2016 marked a further twist in its long-running saga to complete the Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (MMRCA) acquisition that first began in 2001. After the aborted competition led to...

A nearly Earth-size storm system was spotted near Neptune's equator, surprising scientists because no bright clouds have ever been seen in that location. The storm is about 6,000 miles (9,000 kilometers) in length — about three-quarters Earth's diameter — and is even huge compared to the size of Neptune: it spans nearly 30 degrees in both longitude and latitude. When astronomers studied the storm between June 26 and July 2, it appeared to get brighter. "Seeing a storm this bright at such a low latitude is extremely surprising," Ned Molter, a graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, said...

President Donald Trump’s top national-security advisers are searching for a way to overcome the commander-in-chief’s reluctance to send thousands more troops to Afghanistan as divisions on the National Security Council complicate strategy for the 16-year-old war, officials said. The president’s reluctance to embrace an open-ended commitment has resurrected discussion of other options, including proposals to scale back the U.S. military presence in Afghanistan or to hire private contractors to play a bigger role. Top Trump administration officials met to discuss the options Thursday after Mr. Trump asked his team for alternatives, according to current and former Trump administration officials. The...
