Almost one month after it was disclosed that former President Obama's National Security Adviser Susan Rice was unmasking members of President Trump’s team and other Americans, Trump’s own national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, sent an official letter giving her unfettered and continuing access to classified information and waiving her “need-to-know” requirement on anything she viewed or received during her tenure, Circa has confirmed.

While investigators search for a fire cause in Naples, a family is crediting their dog with helping them get out alive. Sadly, that pet didn’t survive the fire. Fire officials say four people were inside of the home. Two adults and one child got out safely. Another adult was taken to the hospital to be treated for burns. The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time. The Naples fire chief says the fire started around 4:30 Tuesday morning on Pleasant View Drive. Several fire departments from surrounding towns responded as mutual aid, blocking off Gore Road. The American...

Two years ago, Mary Katharine Ham and I published End of Discussion, in which we warned that the Left's politically-correct mob was ruining American discourse. These bullies were increasingly seeking to "win" political and cultural debates by preventing them from happening in the first place, we argued, pointing to leftist tactics to silence and shut down honest conversations through a nonstop barrage of motive-impugning grievances. The book was originally published literally one week prior to Donald Trump's now-iconic escalator descent to announce what appeared to be a long-shot presidential run. Twenty-six months later, he's president, and Berkeley is on fire....

Jerusalem Post columnist Caroline Glick wrote Wednesday evening that National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster is purging pro-Israel staff from the National Security Council (NSC), turning the administration against President Donald Trump’s policies. In a Facebook post, Glick noted that “all of these people” whom McMaster has fired this week — Rich Higgins, Derek Harvey, and Ezra Cohen-Watnick — “are pro-Israel and oppose the Iran nuclear deal, positions that Trump holds.” She noted that the firings were the latest evidence that NSA McMaster is “deeply hostile to Israel and to Trump”: According to senior officials aware of his behavior, he constantly refers to Israel as the...

Perhaps if federal or state legislators refuse to report or cooperate with authorities investigating crimes committed by their staff, they should be considered a part of the conspiracy. In post—9/11 America, “If you see something, say something” has become the unofficial slogan of the Department of Homeland Security, with the idea of enlisting American citizens to help identify real terrorism threats. Yet California Democrats in Congress apparently ignored this advisory with their silence, support and promotion of possible terrorists in their own workplace. The Congressional hacking suspects—the Pakistani born Awan brothers—ran the Information Technology (IT) for dozens of Democrat congressmen...

“ Two United States intelligence officials told Bloomberg’s Eli Lake that McMaster has concluded that Rice did nothing wrong. That assertion is at odds with Trump’s thinking, as he repeatedly raised the Rice story during speeches and media interviews. “I think the Susan Rice thing is a massive story,” Trump said in an interview with the New York Times, suggesting that it was possible that she may have committed a crime. On April 12, Trump used the story to defend his accusations that the Obama administration was spying and leaking on his transition team in an interview with Fox Business...

Judith Jones may not have been a household name, but without her, some of the world's most famous books may never have made it to many library and kitchen shelves. The editor died Wednesday at her home in Vermont, according to a statement from the publisher Knopf. She was 93. Her stepdaughter said the cause was complications from Alzheimer's disease. Jones worked at Knopf for more than five decades. She retired in 2011 as senior editor and vice president. It was 1950 when Jones at age 27 was working in Paris as an editorial assistant at Doubleday Publishing. She stumbled...

A quick check of the NewsBusters archives reveals that Samantha Bee is one of the more notorious Trump haters in the media. Therefore it was amusing to watch the TBS host of Full Frontal go into a state of shock on her August 2 show in a segment where she traveled to Kurdistan in northern Iraq and discovered that (GASP!) the Kurds love President Donald Trump. The red-pilling of Bee was so out of the ordinary for her show that the Kurdish segment was titled, SAMANTHA BEE'S FIRST (AND PROBABLY LAST EVER) TRUMP-POSITIVE FIELD PIECE. Probably the most entertaining portions of the...

A man remained in the Mendocino County jail Wednesday for allegedly tying his diaper-clad 2-year-old son to a tree branch without access to food or water. Jeffery Wilson, 27, of Willits, is being held on suspicion of felony child abuse, possession of a controlled substance and trespass, according to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said they discovered the child July 27 in an illegal encampment along Highway 20 near Willits. The property owner previously had reported the encampment and deputies had warned Wilson and the other two adults staying there — believed to be the child’s mother and grandmother...

Two close associates of Pope Francis have accused American Catholic ultraconservatives of making an alliance of “hate” with evangelical Christians to back President Trump, further alienating a group already out of the Vatican’s good graces. The authors, writing in a Vatican-vetted journal, singled out Stephen K. Bannon, Mr. Trump’s chief strategist, as a “supporter of an apocalyptic geopolitics” that has stymied action against climate change and exploited fears of migrants and Muslims with calls for “walls and purifying deportations.” The article warns that conservative American Catholics have strayed dangerously into the deepening political polarization in the United States. The writers...

Germantown, MD — As the notorious and aging abortionist LeRoy Carhart cuts back on his late-term abortion schedule at Germantown Reproductive Health Services, a mystery abortionist has been picking up the slack. This man, who has yet to be identified, was caught recently in a video entering the abortion facility under police escort. But that’s not the only way he has been seen entering the clinic. Pro-life activists have seen him climbing down a ladder into the window well at the back of the office and entering through a window. This bizarre and unexplained behavior has been observed particularly on...

WASHINGTON — Two members of the Senate Judiciary Committee are moving to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller's job, putting forth new legislation that aims to ensure the integrity of current and future independent investigations. Republican Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Democratic Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware plan to introduce the legislation Thursday. The bill would allow any special counsel for the Department of Justice to challenge his or her removal in court, with a review by a three-judge panel within 14 days of the challenge. The bill would apply retroactively to May 17, 2017 — the day Mueller...

Dozens of right-wing demonstrators associated with the Lehava anti-assimilation organization gathered in the capital Thursday to protest the Jerusalem gay parade now underway. The demonstration was led Lehava chief Bentzi Gopstein, attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir, and Hevron activist and 2015 Yahad candidate Baruch Marzel. “You have no reason to [march] here,” Gopstein told parade participants. “You cannot have a [gay] pride march in the Land of Israel. If you have a problem, we will help you; we will treat you. This is not pride; it is an abomination.” Gopstein claimed the parade offended residents, and said the marchers would not have...

A Staten Island judge approved nearly $4 million in payments to the family of Eric Garner from a $5.9 million wrongful death settlement with the city, according to lawyers involved in the case. The judge is still weighing how much to award in attorneys fees, according to attorney Lorraine Coyle who represents Garner’s 3-year-old daughter, Legacy Jayleen Garner-Miller. Garner’s youngest child and his widow, Esaw Snipes, will received the largest shares, according to family attorney Jonathan Moore. Snipes will receive around $1.4 million while Garner-Miller will get close to $1.3 million, according to Moore. “I’m very happy that Legacy is...
