The hyper-emotional reactions to Donald Trump’s election occasioned much commentary about the state of America’s millennials. On college campuses across the country there were “cry-ins,” group “primal screams,” and designated “healing spaces.” The general mood was captured in a tweet from the student body president at American University: “For those who viewed [the election outcome] as unfavorable, anger, sadness, grief, and frustration were brought to the fore. It’s important to note that those feelings are valid and justified. People are scared and people are worried about their futures and their lives.” Critics derided these displays as the childish outbursts of...

WASHINGTON (AP) — China has returned to the U.S. an unmanned underwater drone the Chinese Navy seized unlawfully last week in international waters, the Pentagon said. China's defense ministry said it handed the drone back after "friendly consultations." The Chinese Navy vessel that had seized the drone returned it near the location where it had been taken, Pentagon press secretary Peter Cook said in a statement issued late Monday. The incident occurred last Thursday near the Philippines. (more at the link)

Monday’s assassination of Russia’s ambassador to Turkey came just as relations between the two countries were warming up following a cold war over the Turkish downing of a Russian fighter jet. Russia was accused of violating Turkish airspace in October 2015 — during the start of Moscow’s intervention in the Syrian civil war — leading Turkey to warn that it would open fire the next time. It made good on the threat less than three months later, when Turkish F-16 fighters shot down a Russian Sukhoi SU-24 warplane near the border of Turkey’s Hatay region on Nov. 24, 2015. Russian...

On the 5th of December, a 12-year-old Iraqi boy planted a nail bomb in a Christmas market in Ludwigshafen. The Muslim boy left the nail bomb in a marketplace filled with jolly plastic Santas bearing knapsacks of presents and booths of chocolates built like cottages covered with twinkling lights. Inside was his Christmas present to the little boys and girls of this German city, a glass jar filled with powder and surrounded by nails. Islamic terror had come like a bitterly cold wind from Iraq to Ludwigshafen. The aspiring Muslim serial killer has already become known as the “Kindergarten bomber.”...

“He was interested in a broad range of ideas and attitudes about the type of person who would best fill Justice Scalia’s seat,†Napolitano told the Fox Business Network’s Stuart Varney.  “That is essentially what we spoke about in the hour that I was privileged to sit with him,†Napolitano said.   Taken aback, Varney asked the Judge, “You spent an hour with Donald Trump this morning talking about the Supreme Court?† “Believe it or not, yes,†responded Napolitano. “Now it was a freewheeling conversation, in which many other topics came up […]† “But the...

President Barack Obama has pardoned 78 people and shortened the sentence of 153 others convicted of federal crimes, the greatest number of individual clemencies in a single day by any president, the White House said Monday. Obama has been granting commutations at rapid-fire pace in his final months in office, but he has focused primarily on shortening sentences of those convicted of drug offenses rather than giving pardons. A pardon amounts to forgiveness of a crime that removes restrictions on the right to vote, hold state or local office, or sit on a jury. The pardon also lessens the stigma...

On Monday, it was Hillary Clinton who was losing a stream of Electoral College votes to surprising individuals, not Donald Trump. Four Democratic electors in Washington State alone declined to vote for Clinton, who won the state overwhelmingly, and instead threw their votes behind Standing Rock activist Faith Spotted Eagle, former Secretary of State Colin Powell. The Daily Beast reports that Powell, a longtime Republican who supported the Democratic nominee in the last three elections, actually received three of the four rogue votes.

The Independent Investigations Office has been called in after Vancouver police shot a man wielding a machete at the 29 Ave. SkyTrain Station early Monday. The Vancouver Police Department confirmed that officers responded along with transit police to a call of a man threatening passengers at 8:30 a.m. They initially tried to subdue the man, but he refused to drop the weapon. 2016 will go down in history as the year when the world finally saw sense. Nowhere will this be more apparent than in America’s bold and brilliant decision to elect Donald Trump who, in my view, is set fair to be one of the truly great U.S. presidents. I realise that this isn’t obvious to some people—even those who claim to be on the conservative side of the political argument. But after a recent trip to D.C. for some private briefings, both with his transition teams and with key members of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy, I came away more confident...

The man believed to have driven a truck into a crowded Christmas market in Berlin Monday evening had come to Germany as a refugee from Pakistan this past February, multiple German media outlets reported. The attack killed at least 12 people and left 48 others injured. Officials in Germany and the United States have described the crash as an apparent terror attack, though no group has claimed responsibility. If confirmed, the revelations are likely to heap more pressure onto German Chancellor Angela Merkel, whose decision to accept waves of migrants from Africa and the Middle East has stoked controversy and...

Here at MRCTV, we're really enjoyed poking fun at just how ridiculous our college campuses have become. Because seriously, if you bring in kittens and coloring books to help adult college students deal with a presidential election, you deserve to be mocked and shamed. And as long as they keep crying, we’ll keep laughing. Unfortunately, there’s a much more serious side to this issue. This nation is running a very dangerous and very, very real chance of being handed over to a generation who thinks that the best way to handle your differences is to scream, whine and pout. It...

In late November, Norwegian police made public a pedophile ring in which they arrested 20 men, including a police officer. Officials stated that the Norwegian pedophile ring included at least 51 people, including politicians and businessmen. The New York Times had published a blurb about the arrests via the Associated Press, however, the story has since been removed for unknown reasons.http://www.inquisitr.com/3788765/why-did-the-new-york-times-delete-a-story-about-norwegian-pedophile-network-opinion/

Nine dead, dozens injured in the Berlin Christmas Market: may they rest in peace. In the Turkish capital, the Russian ambassador is slaughtered under the cry of, "Allah is great." Each day, the Muslim brutality increases in intensity and shock -- and an emasculated Western media becomes increasingly afraid of identifying the culprit. The culprit is Islam. There is no other. The religion of the scimitar, of violence, of murder, of sexual perversion will always be Islam. May the sweetness of the coming Baby Jesus convert the hearts of Muslims and secularists alike, so they can one day recognize that...

NASHVILLE — Governor Bill Haslam spoke out on Thursday to explain why he won’t be voting for Donald Trump and will be writing in a different Republican. Haslam said he still believes it would be best for the Republican Party if Trump steps aside and lets Mike Pence be the presidential nominee. He said he had to speak out about this race because he thinks the long-term impact on the Republican Party will be critical.

More than a third of all the trees in California – more than 100 million of them, covering roughly 7.7 million acres – are dead. But it’s OK, because the forests are largely empty anyway, given how we as a glorious human species have thoughtfully killed off half of all animals on planet Earth, all in just the past 45 years or so, because people.

HUGE crowds of Muslims chanting Allahu Akbar descended on London for the second time in a week in a series of protests to demand an Islamic caliphate in Syria. On Wednesday, more than 1,000 protestors gathered outside the Syrian embassy in London’s Belgrave Square calling for America to be punished over Aleppo. While one protester appeared to be waving a Taliban flag, others were seen handed placards made by Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain, which calls for the reestablishment of a caliphate. Then just days later another 400 British Muslims travelled to the capital from cities including Birmingham and Bradford to take...
