Magisterium proceeds primarily from Tradition and Secondarily from Scripture, just as the Spirit proceeds primarily from the Father and secondarily from the Son. Tradition, Scripture, Magisterium are three distinct aspects of One Divine Gift, just as the Trinity is three distinct Persons of One...

The army announced the rescue on Twitter and said it was screening and interviewing the abducted girls and women. Troops destroyed and cleared four militant camps and rescued 200 abducted girls and 93 women "but they are not the Chibok girls," army spokesman Col. Sani Usman told The Associated Press. (VIDEO-AT-LINK)On MSNBC's coverage of Baltimore on Tuesday afternoon, network anchor Al Sharpton denounced last night's rioting in the city but also said we cannot "tolerate" those on the "far right" who "may not care" about Freddie Gray. AL SHARPTON: The fact is that we cannot let the looting and rioting become used by those that might want to justify over and overly aggressive policing. And two, to lose in the process of the discussion, the fact that this is about Freddie Gray and justice for he and his family. I tell a lot of young people that we cannot tolerate...

In the wake of Freddie Gray’s funeral on Monday, as sections of Baltimore convulsed in riots, arson and looting, the city’s troubled history threatened to repeat itself. On April 6, 1968, two days after the assassination of Martin Luther King, Baltimore, like many other cities across the country, found itself engulfed in riots. At the time, the city was still over 50% white, though the demographics were rapidly changing. In just two years, blacks would nearly equal the number of whites, whereas in 1950, the latter outnumbered the former 2 to 1. In 1968, Baltimore was heavily segregated, which hasn’t...

By Gary P Jackson Many long time supporters of Governor Sarah Palin, those of us who have followed her career since early 2007, a year and a half before she was to be chosen as the Republican nominee for Vice President and became an international figure, have been wondering why the Governor has been silent now that several Republicans, including her good friend Ted Cruz, have announced they are officially in for 2016. Maybe, just maybe we have our answer.

As National Guard troops responded to rioting in Baltimore, President Barack Obama said Tuesday that there have been too many troubling police interactions with black citizens across American in what he called "a slow-rolling crisis." But he said there was no excuse for rioters to engage in senseless violence. Obama said people in Baltimore who stole from businesses and burned buildings and cars should be treated as criminals. "They aren't protesting, they aren't making a statement, they're stealing," Obama said. Obama spoke at a White House press conference with the Japanese prime minister the day after violence broke out 40...

RUSH, Folks, I'm not trying to depress anybody. I'm just being realistic. This stuff's not gonna end. I mean, how many of you in this audience went to vote in 2008, and for only one reason voted for Barack Obama: You thought doing so would finally bring an end to all of this racial strife, because you, as a white person, presuming, voting for a black man would demonstrate to every African-American for once and for all you're not a racist, that we aren't racists, that we can elect a black president. That's after we have made a black overweight...

Religious institutions could be at risk of losing their tax-exempt status due to their beliefs about marriage if the Supreme Court holds that gay couples have a constitutional right to wed, President Obama’s attorney acknowledged to the Supreme Court today. “It’s certainly going to be an issue,” Solicitor General Donald Verrilli replied when Justice Samuel Alito asked if schools that support the traditional definition of marriage would have to be treated like schools that once opposed interracial marriage. “I don’t deny that.”
