(Vanity) Reviving the Modern Music Ping List
|
|
Aug 26, 2020 | JPL
After seeing the response to my posts of music videos, I think it's time to bring back the Modern Music Ping List. Topics will be related to music of the 20th & 21st centuries, mainly videos but will also include links to music-related articles. I
will also post live threads when I broadcast on Virtual DJ Radio. Post here or FreepMail me to be added/removed from the list.

Someone needs to take over hosting the Survivor threads and maintaining the ping list

May 19, 2019 | Me
My time for hosting Survivor threads is over. I
was only supposed to be a temporary replacement. I have long overstayed my time and I need to move on. Someone else needs to take over. Please step up and take over. Thank you. :)

Any Interest in a Fiber Arts Ping List? (Vanity)
|
|
It Was Qiviut's Idea! :) | October 29, 2019 | Diana in Wisconsin
Is there any interest in a separate 'Fiber Arts' thread on FR? It would probably be a monthly thread, and we'd post to it all month, share our projects, yarn/fabric recommendations, etc., as we do weekly for the Garden Thread. We're finding a lot of over-lap between the Gardening Thread and the
Cooking Thread and a few other General/Chat threads posted from time to time. Those of us that like to garden and cook seem to like to sew and craft and knit and crochet, too. Any takers? Ping me here, or send me (Diana in Wisconsin) a message if...

A note to the Protestant/Evangelical Devotional Ping List, and anyone else that cares
|
|
GC
In recent days I noticed that the titles of the devotionals from Ligonier have sounded familiar. This
morning I checked and sure enough the devotionals are repeats. I am not sure if the is just for a short season or this is the normal pattern. Because of this I am not going to be posting devotionals from Ligonier and will look for another source of devotionals. I won't start the new devotionals until I return from an overseas trip, sometime later in July. Grace and peace. GC

Proposed ping list and big thread for new conservative content creators
|
|
There's an idea going around, it's not my idea but I agree it's a good one, about getting a big ongoing post and/or ping list to promote new conservative websites, podcasts, etc, to help keep them out of obscurity from bans, shadowbans, search result suppression etc, you know the usual pansyrump leftist
tactics against facts and enlightened discussion. Turns out the burden of running thing is gravitating towards me at least for now, which I don't object to, but I prefer to first gauge how much interest we have in this thread and/or ping list her before embarking on it:...

Vanity Question: Best Current FR Ping Lists

What are Free Republic's best current ping lists? Thoughts/suggestions?
|
|
|
How Would You Find Florida "Ping" Lists on FR? Alternatively, How Would You Start One?
|
|
June 24, 2024 | Self
Have been checking this question out online and not getting very far. Older
FR posts from 20 years ago pull up on the search, ostensibly discussing ping lists and offering them, but this gets confusing the deeper I drill down, no guidance as to how to actually identify, access, or even create one. Some of the postings go back to the early 2000's. Looks like they are trying to be helpful but I can't make heads nor tails of the links they offer. Am stumped. Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong and how to do it the right...

The Moral Absolutes and Homosexual Agenda Ping lists have not been happening for at least a couple of months. Wagglebee
has not been here and I hope he is okay but no one has heard from him. I cannot find the old ping lists. So, if anyone would like to be on the New Moral Absolutes and/or Homosexual Agenda ping lists, freepmail me. I will re-start the lists from scratch. I was gone for a while and am now re-surfacing and will do the ping lists if no one stops me. I may not be pinging as often as I...

Time to Cross WalMart off of Your Shopping List

DB Daily Update ^
| David Blackmon
In what is almost an unbelievable turn of events, even for this horrible year of 2020, the official Twitter account for WalMart just outright attacked GOP Senator Josh Hawley today. After
Senator Hawley became the first GOP senator to make it known that he will object to the January 6 certification of the Electoral vote, WalMart weighed in with a response that reads “Go ahead. Get your 2-hour debate. #soreloser”. PauseUnmute Fullscreen VDO.AI Image That a major corporation would weigh in on a political issue with a partisan political response is no surprise. We see that happening all the time....

A list of those who aren’t helping with victims in Texas

Flopping Aces ^
| 08-30-17 | DrJohn
Texas is suffering a major disaster due to Hurricane Harvey and countless people are volunteering and donating. The
Cajun Navy in particular, has done wonderful work: One volunteer rescuer with the Cajun Navy, identified only by his first name, Brandon, told local ABC Houston station KTRK-TV that he came from Hammond, Louisiana, in order to assist with the rescue efforts, adding that he hopes to "give back." "Because Louisiana has always had its fair share of hurricanes and everybody has always showed up for us, so it’s time to give back," Brandon said. "The Cajun Navy, they pretty much step...

Congress Ripping Up Its Wish List Would Make For A Merry Christmas
|
|
Townhall.com ^
| December 6, 2019 | Mattie Duppler
As Congress returns from the Thanksgiving holiday, there are only three weeks left to pass legislation that keeps the government open. Regardless
of which political party is in control, it remains the most hallowed of Beltway holiday traditions to leave must-pass legislation until the last minute. As in years past, taxpayers should be concerned that a government funding bill would be weighed down with extraneous and expensive policy riders. Such riders have routinely snuck into end-of-the-year bills when they would have otherwise been unable to survive scrutiny in the legislative process on their own. The practice allows a coalition of...

Want to Know How to Support Israel? This Palestinian Group Has the Shopping List for You!

PJ Media ^
| 11/28/2023 | Stephen Green
"It is HARAM to buy this products," the pro-Palestinian flyer warns in broken English, so "avoid products starting with barcode 729," and I can't stop laughing. But
I could go for some Haagen-Dazs about now. Apparently, buying anything from Kit Kats to Le Labo perfumes to Vaseline (and wouldn't that make for a weird weekend) helps "Israel killing Muslim children with your money." "If you spend only £1 a year, Israel make £2.000.000.000 a year from muslim population," the boycott list warns with such seriousness that it sounds fake. "It's your responsibility to care for your penny." I don't know...

List of representatives to target re: Dumping Boehner [re-post]
|
|
email | January, 1, 2015
This list should be targeted for calls to vote against Boehner. This list is Members of Congress who co-sponsored the CROmnibus amendment (called the Mulvaney amendment because he was the lead sponsor) that would have defunded Obama's amnesty, yet these Members ALSO voted IN FAVOR of the very rule that wouldn't allow
their defund amendment to come to the floor as an amendment to the CROmnibus bill! Mulvaney voted for the rule that wouldn't allow his own amendment to come to the floor! That's voting against your own amendment, making your sponsorship or co-sponsorship of that amendment into nothing more...

Omarosa: Trump campaign keeping 'list' of enemies
|
|
CNN ^
| 11/10/16 | Eugene Scott
Washington (CNN)Donald Trump surrogate Omarosa Manigault said the President-elect's campaign is keeping a list of people who did not support his run to the White House. "Let me just tell you, Mr. Trump has a long memory and we're keeping a list," Manigault, the campaign's director of African-American outreach, told the Independent
Journal Review, an online news outlet started by two former GOP staffers aimed at a center-right audience. Manigault made the comment in response to Sen. Lindsey Graham's tweet that he supported conservative presidential candidate Evan McMullin. Manigault, an ordained minister, responded by suggesting that the South Carolina Republican...
