PHOENIX - Nearly 100,000 people in Arizona may not be eligible to vote in the 2024 general election after an error was discovered, officials say.

The Maricopa County Recorder's Office says they discovered that 97,000 voters were able to register to vote without providing documented proof of citizenship.

"This flaw has existed since 2004. In every county. Across the state," Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer wrote on X.

Richer is a never Trump and never Lake idiot who was defeated in the July primary so it is interesting how this plays out.

Richer is a cipher. He came to Arizona from Chicago, claiming to be a Republican. He was sent here to do damage, and he has done it very well.

The recorder's office wants these people not to be allowed to vote on a full ballot – which includes federal, state and local elections – but instead, a federal-only ballot which includes only federal elections, the president, U.S. senator and U.S. House of Representatives.

IOW, we won't let you vote for dog catcher, but President is OK.

Provisionals, baby.

That’s how you don’t get caught filling our fake ballots en masse. With no local, down ballot votes entered it proves to make such a thing plausible.

It’s not a flaw, it’s a feature, built in to benefit democrats.

No problemo ... can’t prove you’re a citizen ... no voter registration

Why don’t they just send out notices to verify citizenship before the election to those impacted. Probably because they want chaos they can blame on conservatives.

Yep, no doubt. Dim voters get a forever stamp.
Repubs get the shredder.

oopsie……

The error has allowed them to slip through the cracks for years

“The Secretary argues that it is too close to the election to implement such a change and that it would be unduly burdensome on voters and deprive them of their voting rights

And in an amazing coincidence, all of those affected by this error are registered republicans.

The courts are obviously corrupted when it comes to vote litigation in Az

This is just the set up .

In the last elections, they got lawsuits kicked out because of claims that the Republicans did not file complaints before the election

So this time the Republicans are being smarter and filing timely lawsuits to preserve rights

It's very complicated because the demonically clever Democrats have found another loophole they can exploit

While it is illegal for non citizens to vote in Az , it's not explicitly illegal to register without proof of citizenship which technically allows illegals
To get registered

However, if they actually do vote in the election , their vote can be contested so they have to cast a provisional ballot and show ID and proof of citizenship to have the vote counted

Maricopa County is going to be a brawl on election day

I suspect this is a scheme to void ballots of those who registered prior to 1996. They won’t check the registration of those recently registered, but instead will go after those older American citizens who have been registered to vote for decades.

They can then put out the narrative that they have “cleaned their voter rolls” in order to make sure only confirmed voters can cast a ballot.
