We have a Freeper who was there on Al Haig’s staff who says he was trying to prevent a coup by GHWB. So most of what you think you know about this is Bush propaganda.

Governor Pence should exhibit the leadership that conservatives have come to expect from him. Trump is leading in the Indiana polls over Cruz. Trump's favorability is climbing.
Pence can either support Trump, and get Trump's support for his own re-election campaign, or he can give Trump the cold shoulder (and have Trump return the sentiment in November).
I think Pence will come over to Trump.

I have been a Ted Cruz supporter. I gave money to his campaign. I have defended him.
This morning I heard a clip where Senator Cruz said,
“Indiana, the eyes of the nation are upon you.”
That, in a nutshell, is Senator Cruz’s problem.
Who talks like that? It sounds like a politician. Such language may be appropriate for an inauguration address, but as a speech at a campaign rally, it rang false to my ears.

Carley would be a great choice on so many levels, the entrepreneurial vote, womens vote, California vote and she has a fire on the campaign trail.
.............................................................
You’ve got to be kidding. She almost destroyed two companies, most REAL women can’t stand the sight of her or to listen to her voice. As for fire, she was consumed a long time ago and she definitely is no Phoenix.

Well, objectively speaking, he has to do something.
Trump's schedule today:
Victory lap on morning television.
Major foreign policy speech that had to be moved to larger venue because of press interest.
Taping an Indiana Town Hall with Greta that airs tonight.
Rally with Indiana legend Bobby Knight.
My first guess was an endorsement announcement, but looks like it is not Pence. Maybe Daniels?
Or, the Carly VP announcement, which frankly seems ridiculous considering the circumstances.

The Pence endorsement speculation makes the most sense.

To do anything other than concede at this point is akin to holding a raffle to see who gets to eat with the captain at the next dinner on the Titanic after it struck the iceberg.
