CNBC: Cruz will make major announcement at 4PM
Marco would be ending his political career with such a move.
What is Trump’s committed delegate count up to now?
I don’t think so at all. I’d go after Carley as hard as I would go after Clinton to destroy any chance she has as a politician.
Carley the destroyer...NOPE!
There is ALWAYS someone who doesn’t get it. Always.
Full Court Press on him to do it.

Governor Pence, Its Time to Take a Stand
The stakes of next weeks Republican primary contest in Indiana could not be much higher. A Ted Cruz victory could make it all but impossible for Donald Trump to secure the nomination outright. A Trump victory could make it all but impossible for him not to. A coordinated, all-out anti-Trump effort of the sort seen in Wisconsin is in order. And that means that, like Scott Walker in the Badger State, Indiana governor Mike Pence needs to step up. Until now, Pence has been sitting on the sidelines in his home state, ostensibly disinclined to get entangled in a national race while facing a reelection battle for his own seat. But the case for Pences backing Cruz seems straightforward. Pence is a reform-oriented, constitutional conservative who has been willing to buck his partys leadership in the name of principle: As a first-term congressman in 2001, he voted against No Child Left Behind; two years later, he defied the Bush administration on Medicare Part D. Additionally, he has long been an outspoken social conservative. He is, in a word, a tea partier who predated the Tea Party. Ted Cruz was arguably the most Pence-like candidate in the field all along, and is certainly so now. And, of course, Cruz is the only non-Trump candidate with a plausible path to the nomination. Share article on Facebook share Tweet article tweet Furthermore, as a matter of self-interest, staying out of the race is unlikely to redound to Pences benefit. Its almost certain that a significant number of Republican voters exit polls in some states have suggested almost 40 percent would stay home rather than vote for a Trump ticket in November, and those are voters Pence will need. The number of Trump voters who will not turn out for a non-Trump ticket is likely to be much lower. And theres not much evidence that other anti-Trump governors Walker, or Massachusettss Charlie Baker, who said in March that he would not vote for Trump in a general election are suffering their constituents wrath. And thinking even longer-term, should Republicans win back the White House this year, its not unrealistic to think that Pence could be a candidate for still higher office. He will not be remembered fondly for, by dint of inaction, helping to cede his state and the 2016 GOP primary to a populist who shares few of Pences principles and who, if current polls are any indication, would likely lose the White House, perhaps badly. Wisconsin showed that a coordinated campaign behind Ted Cruz one that includes elected officials can help him immensely. Governor Pence should exhibit the leadership that conservatives have come to expect from him. Did you like this?
“Likely to announce his VP running mate. Marco is his best bet, but it may be early for Marco to commit, so it could be Carley.”
Commit to what; losing?
Cruz will announce Fiorina as his running mate and then spend the next week proclaiming Trump hates women. Trying to capitalize on the supposed dislike women have for Trump. He must have forgotten that men dont necessarily love Fiorina.
Yep. It’s going to be UGLY. Both Cruz and Fiorina will be running to cameras faster than Al Sharpton to smear Trump 24/7 for the next week. Cruz is clearly trying to “Goldwater” Trump for the general. There can be no doubt that he prefers Hillary to Trump. How sad is that?
Also, I believe Carly is at least very intelligent. I would think that she is smart enough not to allow herself to be used this way.
LOL...No, he doesn’t...EVERYONE knows it was the North Koreans that bombed Pearl harbor....
Haig made that statement for good and noble purposes. There was a bit of a flail going on and he did not want the Russkies to seize the confusion for a decapitation strike.
If that is true they are both dead
Agree it does nothing for Pence to endorse at this point. Or for Cruz. My money is on a hail Mary VP announcement which is just ludicrous since the guy is mathematically eliminated. Let it play out and hopefully Cruz will have to exit the race soon. After he gets trounced in Indiana I don’t see how he stays in.
He will announce he knows nothing about basketball
Bubbles is clearly the smartest guy in the trailer park. He would be an awesome manager!
“Laura Ingraham just played a sound bite of Cruz complaining that Trump wouldnt debate him in Indiana”
Are you serious?!?
This guy is becoming a farce.
Is he surround by nothing but Yes men?
Cruz is losing it.
With Indiana a Critical Battleground, Pence Must Pick a Side
Cruz copies Trump’s success at every turn. Now he’s getting free press for his stupid statement.
