In May 2009, a remarkably well-preserved extinct primate, nicknamed Ida, was hailed as one of the most important fossil finds ever. It had features that some interpreted as a link between two primate body forms. At the time, ICR News suggested that its evolutionary significance was far overblown, predicting that the scientific consensus would offer retractions. Those retractions came three months later, confirming that the fossil―called Darwinius―was really just an extinct lemur variety...

Humphreys is one of the world's foremost physicists, and supervises several sections at Sandia National Laboratory.False. He works for ICR.

You are mixing up Christian with organized Christianity. Nope.
When Jefferson declared himself a materialist and not a believer of all of the doctrines of Jesus, he declared that he was not a Christian.
There is no mix up, here. It is simply a documented historical fact (albeit a sad one).

Will the failure of scientists to have discovered those species to date be held to the same standard of evidence as their failure to discover "transitional fossils"? Logical fallacy!
Since they have failed to find even a single transitional on land, this doesn't even wisper to the question of standards of evidence.

If you are going to fight against creationists you need to come up with a more plausible argument than that this is a "single" incident of mistaken identity. Is that what I said?
Look, I am not a Christian,
You're not very good at reading comprehension either.

What if an entire book is left out, is that error?

Amazing, isn't it? But there are others waiting in the wings to take Ardi’s place. Maybe something like Kenyanthropus, consisting of parts of a skull.
Eve was constructed from Adam's rib but the Darwinist's claim to be able to create a whole zoo of swinging, limping, knuckle dragging critters from even less. Of course it does take lots of glue and grinding.
I'd follow this tread a bit more but when the usual ignorati show up I feel like I'm watching a garbage truck spill its load.
Cheers!

I agree that there should be reasonable restraint at the initial discoveries. It would be better to hold applause til after tests/more information/peer review etc.
But the important issue is that there is a process in place that can consistently objectively evaluate claims and hold them true/false based on established rules of evidence.
“creationists were right in initially stating that it wouldn’t turn out to be a missing link.” really? and based on what testable evidence did they proclaim that this wasn’t the missing link? com’on you’re better than that-evolution is a priori incorrect in many creationist world view. So any finding that supports it will be initially (and in the face of overwhelming evidence,IMHO)and continually called false.
happens in findings supporting religious finds as well-remember the ‘lost ark’ discoveries?

Based on the post above, a quote I believe from a Jefferson letter, he did not delineate, either, so quit the silliness.

If he does anything for ICR, its on the side. From 2001-2008 he was an associate professor at The Institute for Creation Research.[1] He currently works for Creation Ministries International (USA).[1] Humphreys is a board member of both the Creation Research Society and the Creation Science Fellowship of New Mexico.[2][3]

Right. They can’t find “transitional fossils” to your liking so that disproves their their. They can’t find all those supposedly extict pre-historic animals living “under the bottom of the ocean”, but that’s irrelevant to your theory.
