Scientists Back Off of Ardi Claims (Evos give climate-hoaxers a run for their money...LOL!)
ICR News ^ | December 4, 2009 | Brian Thomas, M.S.

In May 2009, a remarkably well-preserved extinct primate, nicknamed “Ida,” was hailed as one of the most important fossil finds ever. It had features that some interpreted as a link between two primate body forms. At the time, ICR News suggested that its evolutionary significance was far overblown, predicting that the scientific consensus would offer retractions. Those retractions came three months later, confirming that the fossil―called Darwinius―was really just an extinct lemur variety...

"Then why are there marine fossils?"

Did you post before thinking?

Some aquatic life perished, but they didn't die out as a species. There are likely hundreds of thousands of undiscovered species living at or under the bottom of the ocean.

To our knowledge, not one person competent in general relativity and cosmology theory who has examined Starlight and Time has given a “pass” to this theory12. Despite the lack of expert corroboration of his work, Humphreys continues to insist on the validity of his demonstrably false theory. Unfortunately, most of the major young-earth organizations13 are continuing to follow Humphreys and are ignoring the demonstrations of the falsity of his theory which have arisen from both inside and outside the young-earth movement.

Jim was specifically responding (for the umteenth time) to those who either wished, or were actually banishing, Creation/ID posts from News to the backwaters of FR. That’s the context, so deal with it.

That would require something more than a kneejerk reaction, so don’t hold your breath.

Are you saying that most of the evos, who partake of GGG's threads, are Trolls?

Take your pick. You are to work out your Salvation with Fear and Trembling. I have mine, I know. I believe what God has given to us in His Word. I make use of KJV. You like another? Use it.

I would venture to guess that NONE of them give this account, though I am sure you evos would like it to be so:

1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth with a BIG BANG.

2 And God let physics make the earth.

3 And God let physics make the sun and there was light.

4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God saw that physics divided the light from the darkness by spinning the planets really fast.

5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day (after millions of years).

6 And God said, Let there be a firmament created by physics in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day(after more millions of years).

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so(Man!!! This taking along time!).

10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth microbial life(in a miraculous way) and evolve into grass, and thereafter changing always and forever into the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass (after more? millions of years), and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

13 And the evening and the morning were the third day(So much TIME!!).

14 And God said, Let there be pretty lights in the firmament of the heaven, created by physics, to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

.........

20And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the pond scum to change and evolve into the moving creature that hath life, and also change form into fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

21 And God created great whales out of sheep, and every living creature that moveth out of something else, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and change into something else someday, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth a single cell to transform into living creatures after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and commanded them to go forth and CHANGE!!: and God saw that it was good.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image by starting with a small monkey or ape, because well, just because; after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man from a monkey in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female, but allowing all kinds of sexual union, created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, or don’t and kill your children, no matter, lions do; and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Give up! - You only demonstrate your lack of understanding of the Bible. “the first day of the week” is actually “the first of the weeks” (referring to pentecost) in the Greek manuscripts.

Christ was slain at the same time as the passover lamb. He is “the lamb of God.”

Will the failure of scientists to have discovered those species to date be held to the same standard of evidence as their failure to discover "transitional fossils"?

How long would it take for all the species of ants to walk to the Ark?

Then it is in error by saying 'the first day of the week'. God's word cannot be in error.

He wrote that he was a Christian.

He did?

"I have recently been examining all the known superstitions of the world, and do not find in our particular superstition [Christianity] one redeeming feature. They are all alike, founded upon fables and mythologies" (Letter to Dr. Woods).

"It is not to be understood that I am with him [Jesus] in all his doctrines. I am a Materialist." (Jefferson letter to John Adams)

The bible makes no mention of creating creatures that live under the bottom of the ocean. Since they were not there 'in the beginning' they must have mutated from the swimmers.

Drivel! (and falsehodd completely)

Humphreys is one of the world's foremost physicists, and supervises several sections at Sandia National Laboratory.

Keep looking stupid!
