In May 2009, a remarkably well-preserved extinct primate, nicknamed Ida, was hailed as one of the most important fossil finds ever. It had features that some interpreted as a link between two primate body forms. At the time, ICR News suggested that its evolutionary significance was far overblown, predicting that the scientific consensus would offer retractions. Those retractions came three months later, confirming that the fossil―called Darwinius―was really just an extinct lemur variety...

“Not if General Relativity is even close to fact. That information lies beyond an “event horizon””
You don’t even know what you’re talking about. If you understand the Doppler effect, and have used a spectrometer, then redshift is easy to understand. General relativity is consistent with this, because it predicts there is no unique center to the universe, in that every point is the center.
Genesis 21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
22All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
23And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
So it seems that God says only landlife died out.
;)
Not at all. I’m not just referring to the object of science. Science itself is based on assumptions that cannot be proved by science itself. All it takes is a few moments thought, and you will realize that what I am saying is true.
Wow! - Now I see that you are a genuinely confused person.
Following your rant is quite a diverse trip of bizzare misconceptions and misunderstandings. The halflife of uranium (or any other element) is irrelevant to any discussion of age, since we have no content manifest for planet Earth to compare quantities to. He didn’t bury the fossils to confuse anyone; the burial was the consequence of his judgement on the creation that had become corrupted by sin. He also told us in his word that he expanded the universe on the first day of creation, so what we see is not representative of age since time itself was expanded on that day. It is not for humans to predict the future, but the Bible does tell of future events that are relevant to our situation, spiritually.
Looks like you want way more that you will ever get.
The content that is allegory is also defined as such.
And to think, unlike Creationists and IDers, those who subscribe to Darwin’s evo-atheist creation myth could not see this coming a mile a way.
I disagree.
-5A?
No I have not spent my whole life believing. And, yes it is.
Which parts are ok to call wrong?
Are you another one of those deists who claim to Christian?
Also, notice how tnlibertarian conveniently left out the second half of JR’s statement:
Debate on church doctrine and or threads on specific religious matters may be best posted in the religion forum, but the defense of religious freedom, especially against those who wish to deprive us of same belongs front and center on FR....They banned God and prayer and creationism from public schools and public places, but Ill be damned if theyre gonna ban Him or it from FR!
No, I’m a Christian who claims to be a Christian.
Are you one of those “No True Scotsman” Christians?
KJV, happy? Wanna have some mockery over that?
Also notice what you conveniently left out from JR's posts:
"The theory of evolution really has no bearing on what I'm trying to accomplish with FR anyway. "
Is a person who reads and believes the NIV a Christian?
Which parts would you choose to ignore and why?
Just curious, really. I don't know what criteria one would use to determine which parts are the word of God and which ones aren't.
Which KJV version?
It’s always good to take things in context.
Then why are there marine fossils?
If this is the best defense you have for junk “science”, you’re way out of your league.
