Rush reports that a Cessna has been reported as crashing into (at least one) apartment complex in NYC Mannhattan's upper east side - on East 71st Street.
I guess. He said find them on the Internet.
Sure that ain't F-22s?
"Shep is like one of the characters from Anchorman."
LOLOLOL!
Did you see the pics of the building? It's a VERY large apartment highrise building. If a plane was having maintenance problems, and was descending while over NYC because of that problem, there are HUNDREDS of buildings of that size and much taller in the area.
Dems will be happier when they are "their planes" again.
Add me to the Houston Ping. Thank you for the information
It's all they can afford these days.
I live in Cleveland and I can go out and get a bagel at 5 am. That is strange? Shep is strange. What I do think is strange is having traffic jams at 3 am.
News organizations still can't figure out where the plane came from. Yet. They say they called the two seaplane companies they're aware of in NYC, and they don't report any missing planes. No local commercial or civillian airports in NYC area report anything missing yet.
Current picture.
Rain is starting to fall. I guess that's a good thing.
Reporters say "scene is calm, and all is under control".
F-2? What kind of jet is an F-2?
The Japanese (Mitsubishi) built version of the F-16 used by the Japanese airforce is called the F-2. Are "Jap" fighter planes finally getting to fly over American cities?
Notice the "meatball" national symbol just below the cockpit.
Otherwise I'm drawing a blank.
Well, one thing's for certain. Them terrorist's aren't stupid. And people outta wise up, New York will always be a numero uno target...
There's also F1 and F3-F12. :)
Or 'directing' the pilot. The eyewitness accounts I'm hearing make me more suspicious, not less. Now eyewitness accounts can be sketchy, and I'll wait for the official word, but how often do planes really crash into any city building, anywhere? I'm really curious. It seems not too often. Especially given that it was a larger plane, not a helicopter or 2 seater.
I guess... I won't be posting it anymore.
Good question. Why not the Empire State Building, for example. On the other hand, how often do planes hit high-rise buildings in NYC? It's all very puzzling.
Why would this map equate the crash site to the location of a mental hospital? That's the funniest thing I've seen out of this tragedy. WTF?
If this were a terrorist attack, they'd be more interested in targeting Shea Stadium, not an apartment building where most people are out at work...
How do you know...and are they coming out of Ellington?
Thank goodness that Cavuto is now on. Hasn't anyone ever clued Shep onto his 'style'?
Did the plane actually enter the building, or did it hit and then fall? Those window pictures don't show a 'gap'. Hope those below escaped fallage.
There is not much on people still in the building. I pray for them.
Or in your grocery store if you live in/near a big-city. They had them in L.A., not in S.D. strangely, but yes, you can get them on the web for about $9 a box.
