Calmate, Republicans, Calmate!

So, in the spirit of calmate, some advice to Republicans after Tuesday's midterm drubbing: calm down and reassess the not-so-distant future political terrain. In 2028, Republicans will at least retain the White House.

Here's why.

President Donald Trump remains president and commander-in-chief for the next two years. Democrats can yell and scream — and they will. After all, they are Democrats. But they have no choice but to deal with the man many in their party routinely refer to as a "fascist."

A Democrat House has no power to prosecute, no matter the upcoming hearings over alleged corruption and self-dealing within the Trump administration. Democrats can make all the criminal referrals they want. The DOJ will not indict. A Democrat Senate, following the inevitable impeachment or two or three, lacks the votes to convict and to expel Trump from office.

So two years of impeachment proceedings and no actual help for Americans. Not sure I care about US citizens. That doesn't make one an American. Thanks Larry. We alwasy like your astute observations.

A Democrat Senate, following the inevitable impeachment or two or three, lacks the votes to convict and to expel Trump from office.

How do they arrive at that conclusion?

This is assuming that the present POTUS and present VPOTUS and present Speaker of the House aren’t successfully assassinated or prevented from doing their jobs in any other way. When the power hungry Left really wants to do things, they find ways of making things happen-laws be dammed!

You think there aren’t enough RINOs like Thune to impeach Trump?

I hope you are correct. Because if those same RINOs go along and impeach Vance, too, who becomes President?

Next question: how many far left Supreme Court Justices can President Hakeem Jeffries put on the Supreme Court this year?

67 votes needed. Otherwise he’s their ‘king’ until 1/20/2029.

Actually, Congress should end it while they still have control. That way it becomes law and thus is harder to overturn.

One of the hallmarks of fascist regimes is that people are afraid to run around perjoratively calling them a fascist regime.
