Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old suspected of fatally shooting at least two people and injuring another during protests in Kenosha over the shooting of Jacob Blake, has been arrested, according to local media reports.
Rittenhouse, 17, was arrested in Illinois and has been reportedly charged with first-degree intentional homicide.
“GoFund” will be taken down in 15 minutes after the start. Because he is supported by conservatives/pro-police.
It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
A guy chasing you can cause you to fear for your life.
It may not sound reasoned, but it depends on the person.
If that person takes you down, they may get control of the
gun and then you’re the one dead.
I wonder if he just decided to go out and protect that lot
or what. Did anyone charge him with that responsibility?
If it looks like a life in in jeopardy nearby, it might be
reasoned to leave the lot.
There are so many possibilities.
“attacked had shot someone else at a parking lot or car lot a block or so up the street. “
He was attacked in that car lot/repair lot by a guy that was very violent earlier in another video. The guy chases him across the parking lot throwing something at him.
He shot that guy in the head, then the crowd started coming at him. He ran from the crowd down the street where he tripped onto his back and shot the other two attackers.
All three shots were self-defense and well documented with videos on the internet. There could be another video before the park lot shooting that might change my opinion on self-defense, have not seen anything.
It was a Molotov cocktail and Ive been saying this all day but Ive been ignored. Antifa were torching a nearby auto business and when they threatened the kid and he didnt back down, one of them (I saw the video early this morning) threw a Molotov cocktail, which didnt hit him and actually went out once it hit the ground. Gasoline is a liquid, so what burns is the fumes, and they obviously hadn’t made their device correctly.
It was then that he began to run and they pursued him.
something either on fire or very bright was thrown at him
````
Its a paper bag on fire with chemicals in it - very bad stuff apparently
Same shooter shot the car dealer punk who attacked him
And the Sheriff who only serves his paymaster. Everyone laughs at the naked Emperor but sooner or later people like this sheriff need to be punished for continuing to fuel the Emperor’s delusions.
Only if the Feds want to charge him with a civil rights crime.............
“Running around with an AR15, in another state, in the middle the night at 17.”
Sorta like “dressed like a slut at that time of night she deserved what happened?
Troglodyte thinking.
He was a 'police cadet'. That is supposed to imply some level of common sense, if not just nerdiness. When the videos came out and it was clear he was being chased and under assault, I can say its self defense. And I still say that based on the videos, but you do have to ask yourself how the situation he got himself into transpired. Those little details are still coming in.
If he was a shop owner defending his shop, thats one thing. But he wasnt even from this town according to latest news. Anyway, the story will continue to develop. Lets see what we learn from it.
These antifa rioters and looters and arsonists all deserve to be shot, but I am not going looking for that fight. Now if they come to my neighborhood, different story...
Hi.
Sad part is that after a few FReepers saw the video, they posted that the victim would be charged. Hate these type predictions.
CWII can’t be far away.
from what I’ve read and the video I saw, it looks like self-defense. The rioters threw rocks at him, chased him, what was he supposed to do, let them kill him?
On top of that, she was on top of his trunk beating it with a base ball bat. They were trying to kill him. It didn;t. She was on the left side behind him.
Yes. Not a lawyer, but I don’t see intent here thus not first degree. But I don’t know everything that happened. It would be nice if attempting to surrender helps him, but probably not. It would be interesting to know why the police didn’t detain him. Seems like a kid with a rifle would be enough, but they had to have heard radio traffic about the shooting, or heard it shortly thereafter.
Well, I agree with you.
Let’s just hope this line o reasoning sound reasonable to
others.
CONTEXT: I spoke with the alleged shooter earlier in the night who stated he was there to protect property
He did not make racist comments, condemn #BLM, or mention political motivations for his actions
He said that he was there to protect property & was carrying a firearm pic.twitter.com/ViYUB65tiy— ELIJAH RIOT (@ElijahSchaffer) August 26, 2020
Shooting victim 1
Turns out to be a BLM protester. He was seen multiple times through the night instigating w/ militia folks. Right before the shooting you can see him chasing the shooter while the shooter attempts to flee the situation.
Victim 2 and 3
A large crowd started to chase the shooter who was trying to leave the area and get to Police. While running, he trips and 2 men are immediately on top of him, one of whom is armed with a pistol.
Shooting begins at 3 hour 58 minute mark
My question was what led to this.
“I said this last night that the person who defends themselves from this mob will end up in prison or wrecked financially or both.”
Better alive I guess, feel sorry for his family’s lawyer cost.
The first guy he shot in the head was very violent and would most likely kill the kid with the kid’s own weapon if the kid did not defend himself.
