Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old suspected of fatally shooting at least two people and injuring another during protests in Kenosha over the shooting of Jacob Blake, has been arrested, according to local media reports.
Rittenhouse, 17, was arrested in Illinois and has been reportedly charged with first-degree intentional homicide.
They will say (And I am NOT agreeing with this) that the fact that he showed up at the “protest” with a firearm he had prior intent.
If he was not at a single point, “defending” his ground, he is screwed.
“ Arrested in Illinois.”
If he lives out of state....uh oh.
The other one shot, had just him with the skateboard.
This is standard procedure in any homocide investigation. They cannot just let people walk away. There must be an investigation and a court appearance or jury trial- like it or not. It probably is wise not to be out on the streets when rioting is going on, and less wise to carry a long fire arm openly.

They are not even charged with possession of fireworks, let alone major crimes.
Feds need to take charge of this mess. Interview their suspect and pursue his cooperation. Cooperative witness in a federal investigation. Hopefully the DOJ can step in to protect the rights of all citizens. If an Investigation finds he was the victim, use the DOJ to pursue charges against the violent attackers.
He’s going to need a team of super-lawyers because the Democrats will have such a team.

Not really, the kid lives in Antioch when is only a half hour drive from Kenosha. It's apparent that he went home then turned himself in..which was a smart thing to do.

I said this last night that the person who defends themselves from this mob will end up in prison or wrecked financially or both.
Even if you win in court against these malicious prosecutions, you still lose everything you have ever worked for and in most cases will never recover. On the other side of the coin NOTHING ever happens to the DAs bringing these malicious cases.
There is nothing more dangerous to our Republic than corrupt prosecutors who are untouchable. These horrible people guarantee we go full on $hithole banana republic.

There’s a video of every attack against him, showing the aggressor attacking him and getting shot as a result. Each one involved deadly force (first guy with a molotov cocktail and a pipe, second guy with a skateboard, third guy had a pistol).
