Kyle Rittenhouse, a 17-year-old suspected of fatally shooting at least two people and injuring another during protests in Kenosha over the shooting of Jacob Blake, has been arrested, according to local media reports.

Rittenhouse, 17, was arrested in Illinois and has been reportedly charged with first-degree intentional homicide.

One of the things that really angered me last night, was that just after the shooting, all of a sudden there were all sorts of sirens going off as if finally something terrible had happened. What about the torching of tens or hundreds of businesses? Those didn’t cause all sorts of sirens to go off. Terrorists burn and loot, no problem. Someone stands up to them, and my heavens what a problem. That seventeen year old has more brains than the governor, the mayor, the city council, the judges, and the DA of Kenosha.

I can understand an initial arrest. I suspect the rest of the article regrading the charge is likely uninformed. They would have to do an investigation to already declare it a murder charge. I doubt they have done that yet, though they probably have questioned him, and if he was smart he already has an attorney telling the questioners to pound sand.

This kid unfortunately will be the next George Zimmerman. He is alive but its gonna be costly.

I saw what was going on, and that kid was defending himself for at least part of the time.

Actually, he was defending himself both times. The first time, protesters/rioters were chasing him and threw either a pipe or molotov cocktail at him; he fired and hit the one guy in the head. Then, as he was leaving the scene, he was again chased by the Marxist mob, fell down, and was about to be attacked by someone with a pistol (which is visible in video stills). He shot again, hitting that pistol-carrying guy in the arm, and some other Marxist in the chest or abdomen.
