He was attacked in that car lot/repair lot by a guy that was very violent earlier in another video. The guy chases him across the parking lot throwing something at him.
He shot that guy in the head, then the crowd started coming at him. He ran from the crowd down the street where he tripped onto his back and shot the other two attackers.
All three shots were self-defense and well documented with videos on the internet. There could be another video before the park lot shooting that might change my opinion on self-defense, have not seen anything.
Yeah. I’d sure be interested to see why that first guy was chasing him. My understanding is that he was part of a group that had agreed to protect local businesses. Since he came running back to the parking lot that he was apparently supposed to be guarding it sure looks like he managed to get distracted, or otherwise involved with things not related to guarding that lot.
After he shot the first guy he actually circles around the parked car and back to the “victim”. He took out his phone and apparently made a call. If he called 911 that will probably help his defense. Once it becomes apparent that the crowd is going to come after him, he starts running away which leads to the other two shootings. He actually holds back shooting the third guy (who has a pistol himself) who hesitates and looks like he is going to retreat but then makes a really dumb decision and tries to advance on the young man on the ground who then literally “wings” him.
