Re-posts, why can’t FR itself do a search for you, and run by some potential candidates?
That would be nice as an option, but I think it would bog the system down as SOP. An alternative: a tool the admins can invoke that will pull multiple threads into a single merged thread and “do the right thing” when people reference links into the original threads.

I’m sure there are at least 100-10000 page reads per page post. Thus, to search against only posts in the last 48 hours would be negligible extra load, and make for a much nicer experience of no reposts.
Thus, the computer works a little harder, and the admins work less locking reposts.
Seems like a win/win, right?
Thanks for all the info you all provide but could people please put the state as well as the city when they post things. Sure would save a lot of time looking it up.
