If we could get millions of Americans to march on Washington, what would we do?

Here is our recourse as declared by our Founding Fathers:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

It cannot be denied that the central government has become destructive of our unalienable rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness and our rights to live free. The government is no longer responsive to we the People. They have stretched and shredded the constitution to the point that they have illegally seized for themselves virtually unlimited powers over the citizens and act as if we have no rights and no powers of our own. They are acting without our consent.

Our Founders established that when our government becomes destructive of our rights then it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

We have reached the point where the government's long train of abuses and usurpations has achieved absolute Despotism, therefore it is our right, it is our duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for our future security.

Therefore, We the People of America choose to exercise our right to throw off and alter the abusive government by peacefully recalling and removing from office the President of the United States, the Vice President of the United States and all U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives effective immediately.

An interim provisional Chief Executive and congressional representatives will be established as follows:

The Secretary of State shall immediately assume the office of interim Chief Executive. The Chief Executive shall appoint and the interim Senate shall confirm an interim Vice President.

An immediate election shall be held within each state legislature to appoint two interim senators to represent each sovereign state.

A special election shall be held by all states within 30 days to elect interim members of the House of Representatives.

Elections for regular government offices shall be conducted in November, 2010 as previously scheduled, except that elections will be held for all elective offices, including President, Vice President and all U.S. Representatives. U.S. Senators will be elected per class schedule by the various state legislatures.

We alter the government to provide new Guards for our future security as follows:

The Constitution of the United States must be kept intact and must be adhered to and strictly followed by all government entities as originally intended. The government has stretched the constitutional limits well beyond those intended by our founders. We must take steps to ensure that this is corrected and that the out of control government is reined in and that sufficient measures are introduced to maintain the limits, checks and balances on government and that government powers are strictly limited to those enumerated in the constitution and that our rights are reestablished, reaffirmed, re-secured and safeguarded. We must restore and reestablish the sovereignty of the people and the states and restore the constitutional balances between the central government, the various states and we the people. The constitution severely restricts government powers and guarantees unalienable freedom and Liberty to the people.

As we restore constitutionally limited government several wrongs must be righted:

The central government has illegally expanded its powers. They've done this by ignoring or stretching their constitutional limits. They have usurped powers limited to the states and the people. We must reestablish and reaffirm the enumerated powers and limit the central government strictly to just those powers. They've built huge power bases by allowing senators and representatives to be full time professional career positions. We eliminate this by establishing strict qualifications for office and term limits.

We must reestablish and reaffirm the powers to the states and the people as defined by the 9th and 10th amendments.

The central government has denied the states their constitutionally guaranteed republican form of government by introducing the 17th amendment which alters the way the senators which were to represent the sovereign interests of the various states to the central government. We must reestablish that representation by repealing the 17th amendment and allowing the state legislatures of the various states to elect their own senators as intended by our founders. This was never intended to be a function of the people. We the People are represented to the central government by our elected representatives in the House of Representatives. The sovereign states were to be represented by the state's senators to keep central powers and encroachment in check. Power is from the people to the states, and from the states to the central government. They've turned this upside down and inside out. We must correct it.

We hereby repeal the 17th amendment.

The central government has expanded well beyond the limits established for it by the founders and pay for that expansion by directly taxing the people and severely restricting our rights through an enslaving income tax.

We hereby repeal the 16th amendment.

The IRS and all sub departments and agencies are hereby dissolved, disbanded and closed.

The newly elected congress will establish rules and schedules for assessing and collecting fees, tariffs and excise taxes to support the armed forces and all constitutionally authorized departments of The United States Government per the Constitution of the United States (see schedule).

The central government is hereby stripped of all illegal powers and all departments and agencies not authorized by the constitution are hereby dissolved and disbanded. Their current budgets are hereby withdrawn. All disbanded department funds and liquid assets are to be immediately returned to the US Treasury. A list and methods for achieving this is provided in schedule xxx.

Ownership and responsibility for all federally held buildings, lands, parks, waterways, oceans, seas, etc, other than those in Washington, D.C. or military bases, forts, reservations, or local federal buildings owned by valid constitutional federal departments (see schedule) are hereby transferred to the sovereign state governments within which they reside or are located.

Responsibility for all natural resources found within any of the various states or within lands, oceans, lakes, rivers, waterways, seas out through our international boundary limits are hereby returned to the various states. All laws for mining, drilling, logging, or otherwise capitalizing on any minerals or natural resources are to be determined by the various states within which said resources are found.

The social security system is hereby dissolved, disbanded and closed. All social security funds being held by the federal government are to be returned to the private retirement accounts of the individuals owning them. A special fund will be establish for all current recipients and new recipients according to schedule xxy and the social security system shall be phased out accordingly. The funds to support current social security benefits shall become the responsibility of the states within which the recipients reside.

No revenues accruing to the federal government shall be disbursed to any state, city or local government for any reason whatsoever. Or used to subsidize or benefit any government or private entity, organization or person, other than those explicitly authorized and enumerated in the constitution.

All states are hereby solely responsible for any and all revenues or funds required to operate their sovereign states. The central government is not obligated to and shall not interfere in state government or local affairs.

The interstate commerce clause shall be applied strictly to regulating interstate commerce as originally established and intended by our founders. No stretches or reinterpretations of any kind shall be allowed.

Our first unalienable right is the right to life. Protecting Life and Liberty shall be of paramount importance to our central government. Roe v Wade and all congressional acts, regulations, court opinions allowing legalized abortion or the taking of innocent human life are hereby rescinded, overruled, repealed, nullified and voided. Life is fully protected by the U.S. Government.

The Federal Reserve.

Border security.

Medicare.

FAA, FDA, FCC, various federal ABC departments agencies and agencies. Which to close, which to remake with constitutional limits and authority, etc.

Federal Pensions.

Etc, etc, etc.

Need lots of help with this document, folks. Please chime in. Would love to see a committee formed of members of every state to complete and finalize it. Then we should form and send delegates to a special national congress to work out the kinks and plan its presentation and execution.

This concept is an entirely peaceful altering of our despotic government per our unalienable right and duty. No where do I call for violence. The only force I call for is the force of numbers. We need millions of our citizens to sign on to this petition and execute its provisions. Will require millions to march on D.C. to block the government's ability to do business as usual. This is our right and duty as Americans.

He didn't even check again to see if the street was clear, though it was. He positioned himself at what he judged was the proper distance and heaved the concrete telegram as hard as he could. With what seemed to him to be an atomic crash, the chunk sailed through the window easily. No alarm went off. Hobbs wasn't that kind of town. But Bob Stone began to run away.

With "The Marion Incident", window-breaking on behalf of the Constitution began to spread. In about four weeks, 194 local headquarters of both parties were "ventilated" with rocks, bricks, concrete blocks, shotputs, lead weights, tire irons, antique civil war cannon balls and in the case of one Democratic party headquarters in Michigan, a twenty-pound brass jackass of unknown origin. Attached to, or written upon, each was the Second Amendment to the Constitution. Similiar missiles found glass targets at the homes of no fewer than 56 politicians of both parties who had been prominent supporters of gun-control.

The Window War was won, and to the astonishment of many gun owners, no one had been killed. It had long been thought that bloodshed would be required to make the liberals understand that God-given rights are not compromisable. All it had taken was a few hundred rocks and other missiles and one brass jackass.


Of course we can write all types of messages on bricks...not just 2nd Amendment ones.

As I have said before here, and other places, I will be in DC on 9/12. But in the final analysis, we will end up resorting to massive “civil disobedience” to disrupt the government. I am of the belief that the government will stop what they are doing when we shut them down. And not before.

Do we, the American people, have the will to do so before we no longer have the ability to do so?

I would be there with a truckload of relaives and friends. As much as possible, it would be best to plan it for a time when moderate weather is expected. Bad weather could be more effective in reducing effectiveness and results than almost anything else.

It should be while congress is in session.

We must be prepared to continue for more than a few days. Hopefully it will grow and grow as word gets out.

Organize it like a military campaign as much as possible.
Goals and a broad agenda must be set beforehand.
Nothing will be accomplished by a million hungry people filmed wandering aimlessly and defecating on the sidewalks of the capital city.

At its heart, the march will be a media event and must win the empathy and support of the majority of Americans who cannot be there.
Try to enlist the upfront assistance of savvy media people.

As much as possible the march must control the media and information flow to the media in every way. The government and MSM must not be allowed to control news of the march.

Get your own story out - not theirs.
Plans must be in place to create and distribute video, photos and news reports to media outlets that will air them and distribute them to others.

Try to coordinate live broadcasts by, and appearances of, anti-socialist / conservative radio and TV personalities (Mark Levin types) and appearances by national figures and authorities.

Include plenty of onsite bloggers.

Remember - Most mainstream media that shows up will not be there to provide unbiased coverage - They will be there to insult, belittle and undermine the march to the nation.
They will be seeking people, comment and visuals to discredit the march and marchers.
Be prepared to monitor and film them and keep them as honest as possible - they aren't used to being covered in that way.

Plan to use the sheer force of numbers to peacefully isolate and neutralize antagonistic and unsympathetic media groups. Do not cooperate with them, do not grant interviews, do not do anything to assist them with the possible exception of providing a prepared boilerplate handout.

Don't let them use the march to further their own interests.

Plan to have plenty of highly visible military vets, and try to recruit participation by vets organizations.
Vets should be encouraged to wear or carry something to identify themselves as such.

Plan to identify and peacefully neutralize troublemakers, counter protesters, trolls and opposition plants as much as possible.

Organize roving groups of marchers to watch for other marchers, agitators, or media people with racist, ethnic, sexist or otherwise obnoxious signs. Neutralize them peaceably through discussion or blocking them out with other, larger or more numerous signs, etc.

Rapidly flood the whole governmental district with so many people that the size of the crowd overwhelms any possibility of law enforcement quickly taking control and herding or disbursing them.

Shut down bridges in and out of the government areas with sheer numbers of marchers.

The numbers should be so large that by necessity government action will quickly be directed toward providing essential services (food, water, sanitation, medical) rather than knocking heads and arresting people.

American flags, state flags and signs and posters by the thousands!!!
But nothing racist, ethnic or insulting can be allowed.
Be on the watch for trolls and media people who will try to do just that.

Set up large non-stop protests to shut down access at all jails and other facilities where law enforcement may try to bring protesters. Get it on film.

Each individual bring camping gear, food, water, etc.

Set up protesters’ tent cities on the mall and in all park areas. Preplan other areas that may be useful for tent cities and gathering areas (arenas, parking lots, etc.)

Have information available for marchers to identify locations of medical facilities, public water fountains, toilets, etc. Much of this type of info can be made available in advance over the internet.

It would be good to have sympathetic attorneys and other knowledgeable legal people on hand to deal with potential legal challenges, incarcerations, etc.

Jim, I take this seriously and I like it, a lot. I want my country back.

Please allow me to suggest a few things to help us achieve this goal.

1. List what is wrong.

It would help if people knew what the gov was doing that it shouldn’t, how it affects all of us (Dem, Repub, and Ind.), why it should matter to us personally, the way it used to be or should be, etc. We’ve grown up and become accustomed to our current situation. It seems normal, right, and natural to most. Open some eyes, do some educating. Make it personal. You have many thousands of people here, like me, who know that things are wrong, but don’t know much more than that. Educate us. Open our eyes. There are smart people here to help you. Don’t miss your chance to do something real for our country and her people.

2. Transition.

We can’t realistically undo decades of law all at once.

3a. D.C. March

It won’t work. We have jobs and limited funds. D.C. is too far away for most of us. We should gather where we all live, work, and play, or *something*, but not march on D.C. exclusively.

3b. Marching.

It won’t work. We need to *do* something, like Rosa Parks, that makes a statement. Something we can all do, where we live, that makes a clear statement and CANNOT be IGNORED.

4. Rallying point

We need a leader or rallying point that is serious and will be taken seriously. That means the movement has to be serious too, or we will fail. A movement of serious people who mean business with realistic, attainable goals and are willing to risk their cozy, comfortable lifestyle and financial security to reach those goals.

5. We need others.

To get the numbers and succeed, we must draw others (besides strict Constitutional conservatives) into our movement by showing them how our vision will directly benefit them, even if they don’t share our Conservative values.

6. Motivation.

Money issues motivate people. We need clear issues to motivate people (lots of people) to get off their butts, take risks, and demand change. Brainstorm. Educate yourself on successful and unsuccessful movements both here and abroad. Ask the people here on this forum what type of scenario or situation would motivate them to take risks and take action. I’m certainly not going to skip class, risk my GPA, and spend time and money I don’t have to march on D.C. unless I know something concrete will come of it. I’ll risk it all, my life included, if there’s something I think has a good chance of succeeding and bringing about the change I long for.

Basically, don’t put the cart before the horse. There are steps leading up to what you stated in your opening post. It’s a beautiful goal, one our founders envisioned for us. I’d like to see it become reality, not just fantasy.

Our nation is on its deathbed, literally. Our nation has been critically wounded for a very long time. We may be too late already, I don’t know. I do know that if we don’t *do* something NOW (besides bitch and moan) then we will have no chance for hope apart from civil war or some other horror I don’t wish to see. That or embrace the new world order. Our time and options have nearly run out Jim.

You right about the *meekness* of Americans.

In my youth, I fought the system in every way I could think. Not paying taxes, working for cash only, breaking as many of this nations laws and morals as fast and as thoroughly as possible.

Then came adult reality 101. Marriage, children, buying a house, getting in good standing with all associated institutions. My anarchy days were over.

Now comes this course of events and all I can think of is my past, youthful indiscretions. My anarchic attitude returning. My lust for weapons, my hatred of corporations and their thirst for all the wealth in the world. My distaste for technology and what it does to our senses.

I sit and wonder what it will take for the average Joe to get up off his comfortable couch, step out his front door and lead the way to challenge this unholy alliance of demonic forces.

Here I'm wasting another beautiful Saturday pondering the state of the world. Oh well!

I would like to suggest that we (either in the intial document phase or through the normal amendment process) establish a ten year term for federal judges at all levels, including the Supreme Court. Said judges would still be subject to Senate confirmation. No judge could serve back-to-back terms on the same court, and the limit is three terms total.

IMHO, this would limit the amount of damage a Supreme could do.

Another option I’ve considered is that the Senate could be empowered to recall a federal judge by a two-thirds or even three-quarters vote without impeaching said judge. If we’re in a situation where only six federal judges have ever been impeached in over two centuries, but said judges can also do stuff like Roe, Kelo, etc., the people’s representatives don’t have enough stick available under the current system. We shouldn’t have to wait for one of these scumbags to show up drunk or get caught taking bribes before we can ensure proper judicial restraint and decorum.

That NWO crowd is rabid. I really believe if there is ever a SHTF situation, they will start it. If not them, the people that are on forums like Stormfront. They hate everything. Blacks, Jews, Israel, Federal reserve, United Nation, you name it, they hate it and they have a huge following.
