Governor Taft was with President Bush, in Northeast Ohio, last summer. His reception was very, very cold by all in attendance. He doesn't get it, and he really doesn't care. It's like he is a power hungry dictator. I really think a Democrat will win the seat, next election.
There is no way in ^&%$ that Matt Blunt (R) has numbers like that. And I question the Sebelius (D) ratings in Kansas as well. Some of her issues have been drawing negative attention.
KEN BLACKWELL for GOVERNOR!!
(A REAL conservative)
GMTA.............I didn't see your post before I wrote mine. :o)
Then we'd better campaign like crazy for Ken Blackwell and make sure that doesn't happen.
Nope.
He ran as Reagan, and has been governing like Mondale.
Thus pissing everybody off...
= )
Interesting survey. Gov. Jodi Rell comes in at #4 with a 66% approval rating. Hmmm...
Please Freepmail me if you want on or off my infrequent Connecticut ping list.
Very nice post. Wisconsin's Governor Doyle (D) has a DISapproval rating of 49%. The only reason he has 41% approval is due to the left-wing nutjobs in Madison, WI and the slackers on the dole (or on the "Doyle" as we refer to it) in Milwaukee. I'm certain this polling is somehow slanted to the left. No one above, say, Sun Prairie, cares for the guy.
He's going to have a tough race come '06. Good! Tommy Thompson, come back! All is forgiven. (He ditched us to become HSS for President Bush.) We need you! :)
50 | Ohio | Bob Taft | 19% | 74% |
19 percent approve, all democrats, and the rest of the state hates his guts. what a waste.
I like it! The only problem, though, if Rell doesn't get in, we'll be stuck with even worse: RATs Sec. of State Susan Bysiewicz (who is bankrolling quite a war chest for governor's race 2006, from what I've heard) or Lt. Gov. Kevin Sullivan.
UNLESS another Republican (a REAL, conservative one) steps-in to the ring.
