Fox news just reported there are questions now about where Rassmann actually was. He said he was on Kerry's boat when it got ambushed, but Kerry's web site says Rassmann was on the boat behind his. Just more questions about kerry's seemingly faulty memory.
They have made the point that they wouldn't want him to be CIC because they have grandchildren and the like. I think it is a reasonable thing to say. The Band of fools shilling for Kerry continue to say they want a guy whose been shot at in a Third World crapper to be CIC. I think the Swifties can very effectively say that Kerry's abandonment of the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan is just a continuation of Kerry's betrayal in Nam.
President and CIC are the same thing, especially in these trouibled times.
CinC is a huge part of a president's job (especially now) but it's not the entire job. I think the Swift boat vets are doing the right thing by restricting their comments to military matters, specifically kerry's Vietnam service and post-war activities. I'd rather see the Bush campaign level any criticisms on his senate record than have the Swift boat vets do it.
read thread later
"I noticed Rassmann standing behind Kerry at another rally yesterday. Is he being compensated by the Kerry Campaign to be a fixture at these events? Is he getting his expenses only or is he being paid a salary, or both? If he is a paid spokesman as opposed to the grateful warrior it would be interesting to know what his grateful loyalty is worth... hint... hint..."
Thus far I have not read or heard if Rassmann is a campaign expense, or has become a recent employee of one of Mrs. Heinz foundations.
That question thus far to my knowledge has not been ask.
Would make sense that Rassmann would be a top earner on the JFKerry campaign "ship", cause without Rassmann we would be talking about Dim nominee Howie Dean.
JFKerry now owes Rassmann BIG TIME for plugging his sinking "ship" last Jan., 2004 on that stage in Iowa..
