Has Lester reported on the danger of Guam capsizing if too many people inhabit it? It’s a big problem! He should do a tour of all 57 states reporting fake news from each one.....

The radiation in the vicinity of Jupiter is around 1,000,000 rad. We’d all be getting a nice tan.

He was only off by a factor of a million. I just checked with the astronomy website Heavens-Above.com.

Uh...magnetic fields are not normally measured in watts, are they? And they don't fry anything unless they are oscillating rapidly...kinda like a microwave. Unless physics has changed recently. 😊

Okay, ya got me. I'm just a guy with a history degree. My grasp of electrical dynamics is spotty at best :-P
Even so, I imagine that NASA has had to harden their probes to that planet. Jupiter is an electric powerhouse not to get trifled with. A few thousand miles down and the pressure turns the hydrogen into one vast metallic shell of protons. That kind of output can't possibly be conducive for life.

I vividly remember the day the US military pulled Saddam Hussein out of his hole. Lester said, “Can this man get a fair trial in Iraq?”. Liberal minds

Happens every 216 million years. Jupiter takes everything not nailed down on Earth.

For those that don’t know, a light-year, the distance light travels in a year at its ~constant speed of 186,000 miles per second, works out to about 5.9 trillion miles. At its current distance of about 415 million miles, Jupiter is roughly 37 light-minutes from Earth.
