Anyhow, in the process of cleaning out boxes, it came to me....the questions that we all ask ourselves as we uncover chunks of our long lost past.....
What WAS I thinking!?!
So, my questions to all of you are:
What hobby or interest did you have when you were younger that you still have a passion for?
Ok, now....is there something you used to do that you now think "I can't believe I used to like that!"
Same with music---
What was your favorite band/song in highschool, then early adulthood compared to now? (Those still in early adulthood have only 2 questions to answer. Or maybe just one ;))
Is there anything in your interests, hobbies or life that would surprise people who know you? (Nothing weird, just.....) And if it invovles being on wanted posters, you can skip the question :)
I wish, I am in an apartment right now and would ask my ex-husband to let me grow veggies, but our son has a dog that chews everything.
:)
+1 for loud-talkers.
I am a bit of a wuss about those things. I wouldn't last an hour on "Survivor."
Woohoo! You are my kinda woman!
Seriously, you done good, there aren't many women like you these days. The other panty waist types wouldn't have put up with that.
I have to admit, you must complain less than I do. Sorry, I can put up with many inconveniences for the sake of good country living. I would have complained.
Where do you live? It's ok if you say the city. You still have admirable character choosing to do this for the ultimate goal.
Is that ozarkgirl? She's tough looking. I wouldn't mess with her.
I always hated those too, we call them pitters. My sister is a nurse who works in ER and once she had a construction guy come in who was bit by a tarantula on his privates from sitting on one of those. I always avoid them at all costs after that story.
You brought flowers, how nice.
We can pretend I'm an altar boy...
WHY IS EVERYONE YELLING??
What a great picture!
I try!
I went camping out when I was in the Air Force about 1977 at a place called Pelton Creek, Wyoming. It was about nine miles from the Colorado border.
I'll never forget that trip. It was Memorial Day weekend, the end of May and we were about 8,200 feet above sea level. It was cold, in the low 40's and raining constantly. We were catching fish, mostly wild brown trout and we didn't care. About 15 of us were there, all people I worked with and some of their family members.
Our picnic tables were in the open and cooking wasn't any fun in the constant rain using Coleman stoves. We lived in ponchos and hip boots.
At night it was near freezing. We had catalytic tent heaters but they went out during the night. If the tents weren't so drafty we would have been asphyxiated.
Then it started to snow. The dirt road we had to travel in and out on for 9 miles was turning into a quagmire. So, on the morning on the third, we had to leave.
I'd do it all over again. It was fun.
SO THEY NEIGHBORS THINK WE'RE HAVING A BIG PARTY!
PASS THE PRETZELS PLEASE!
BECAUSE NAJIDA LEFT THE BLENDER RUNNING!!
What's up, P?
I want to see if they could produce a version even more authentic, where they transport people back to the Neolithic Age, where they'd be forced to survive for a month or so.
Only, all of the participants would have to be selected from groups like GreenPeace and Friends of the Earth.
Hah! No fair, you don't get to post pictures of me when I have no pictures of you!!
Hello Hello Hello.
First question before we say anything else...tonight's FReeptoon?
Absolutely!
