Would you mind splainin' why you're such an expert on ouzo?
Could it be the same reason Mama Bear is an expert on Margaritas? :)

April Showers
Though April showers may come your way,
They bring the flowers that bloom in May.
So if it's raining, have no regrets,
Because it isn't raining rain, you know, It's raining violets,
And where you see clouds upon the hills,
You soon will see crowds of daffodils,
So keep on looking for a blue bird, And list'ning for his song,
Whenever April showers come along.
Happy April Showers Day!

I think the rain is coming from the south; you may get it tomorrow. :(
Spring Rain
Marchette Chute
The storm came up so very quick
It couldn't have been quicker.
I should have brought my hat along,
I should have brought my slicker.
My hair is wet, my feet are wet,
I couldn't be much wetter.
I fell into a river once
But this is even better.

I always thought Ouse was aniseed not licorice similar to the in drink in the UK in the 70s Pernod. Not over keen on either though but I love both licorice and aniseed sweets (candies) though.

Well .... you are correct. The anise seed reminds me of licorice.
Have a happy Jelly Bean Day, Snugs.
