RELAXATION I've never gotten the hang of golf.
Though, if you enjoy it, Well, that's fine!
Hitting a tiny ball with an extruded tire iron
Then chasing it seems like a waste of time.

I more enjoy the Instant Gratification
Of Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays.
Tracking the quick prey as it sails and dips.
Shotgun caressingly gripped. Then letting her rip.
Delivering Cathartic Obliteration!

Golfers are a stoic lot.
Of that I'll not be fakin'.
They play a historic game
That's been given its name.
Because every other name has been taken!
