Snakesnear will be standing at the Rainbow Bridge wondering how he is gonna drag a 200 pound man around on a blanket. He will probably turn and take off after a rabbit.

We are part way there. He goes to the door and if the paper is down, he uses that. Don't know why he can ask to come inside but he doesn't know how to ask to go outside. :) Too funny. For our part, it's "Been there, Done that" but inverted. That is, after he's done that, we've been there -- to wipe up. Lucky Lindy's luck may be running out. LOL!

Sounds like your wife was anxious to see you!! :) Yeah, and I was happy to see her, too. It's good to be back home again.
It's Edwards.

MEET ME AT THE OCEAN
Meet me at the ocean
where the water meets the sand
Our world alone,
this is our eternity
I dream of this place
we have never been
You are my only escape from reality
Endless sleepless nights
take me to this place
Waves crashing restlessly
on the beach
Where I can feel your body
and see your face
You are all I need
but still out of reach
Meet me at the ocean
A place that is my home
High tide will come
Will come and carry us
Away to the unknown

Good morning, MamaBear!
Thank you for this lovely Welcome Graphic.
If I don't make it back to the prior posts, thank you for the postcard. That looks like a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing that sight with us.

Good morning, Diver. A trip to the beach sounds wonderful.
After the heat yesterday and another day of triple digits forecast, I think we should gather the local FReepers and head over to Pismo or Cayucos (sp).
Have a happy Tuesday.

Good morning, Meekie.
Looks like ole Flipflop finally flopped. I don't think Edwards is going to help him much.
Happy Tuesday!

Love of Country
(from "The Lay of the Last Minstrel")
Breathes there the man, with soul so dead,
Who never to himself hath said,
This is my own, my native land!
Whose heart hath ne'er within him burn'd,
As home his footsteps he hath turn'd,
From wandering on a foreign strand!
If such there breathe, go, mark him well;
For him no Minstrel raptures swell;
High though his titles, proud his name,
Boundless his wealth as wish can claim;
Despite those titles, power, and pelf,
The wretch, concentred all in self,
Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
And, doubly dying, shall go down
To the vile dust, from whence he sprung,
Unwept, unhonor'd, and unsung.
-- Sir Walter Scott (1771-1832)

Looks like ole Flipflop finally flopped. I don't think Edwards is going to help him much. The good news is that the Kerry-Edwards campaign will get a vacation starting November 3rd.
For Dubya it's: "Four more years ! Four more years ! Four more years !" .....
