Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

Obama provides details of his birth weight in Dreams From My Father; “Hm. Well, my mother told me as a kid what my birthweight was (9 pounds 15 ounces), and I remembered it from that. I don’t remember seeing a copy of my birth certificate until I was 15 and getting my learner’s permit, and I didn’t look at the birth weight section. I’m 43, and I couldn’t tell you where the birth weight section on my birth certificate is–I just remember that it’s on green paper…” If this is true why isn’t the birth weight recorded on a Hawaiian Birth Certificate? This calls in to question exactly what document was he looking at?
Maybe his original Birth Certificate is from Kenya and his mother flew in back to Hawaii because the laws in 1961 in Hawaii. Perhaps what he has is the easy obtainable “Late” Certificate of Birth. The Certificate of Hawaiian Birth program was established in 1911, during the territorial era, to register a person born in Hawaii who was one year old or older and whose birth had not been previously registered in Hawaii. The Certificate of Hawaiian Birth Program was terminated in 1972, during the statehood era. “Who is Eligible to “Apply for Late Registration? As provided by law (HRS §§338-15, 338-29.5), the following persons may apply for late registration: Any person born in Hawaii who is one year old or older and whose birth has not been previously registered in Hawaii, or that person’s parent, guardian, next of kin, or older person acting for that person and having knowledge of the facts of birth may request the registration of a late certificate of birth.” What I find curious is under the law you can apply for one of these years after the birth as long as someone has knowledge of the facts of birth. After reading this I am wondering if Obama was really born in Hawaii if all that was needed was his mother’s say so. He could have easily been born in Kenya, brought back to the US and applied for a LATE Certificate.

I read somewhere that Obama’s father was still married to a wife in Kenya and fathered other children by her at the time he allegedly married Obama’s mother and fathered him. If so, wouldn’t his marriage to Ann Dunham have been invalid? And if there was no valid marriage, Obama was not born a U.S. citizen because that requires the parents to be lawfully married. If he wasn’t born a U.S. citizen he is not eligible to be elected President. I may be off track here but if Obama’s father was still married at the time he “married” Ann Dunham, the second marriage is invalid. Somebody, please help me out here.

I don’t think it has to go to court. I believe that fake ID can be referred to ICE.gov. That forgery calls into immigration status.
You have to come forward several decades from 1961 to find "white" replaced by "non-hispanic white", with "non-white" further digressed into "black", "cambodian", etc.
Negro and "colored" weren't asked for.
Even Caucasion wasn't used (lest it be mistaken for "colored").
I don’t believe that a computerized image of a fake document is enough for prosecution any more than a computerized image of counterfeit money would be.

Used to be the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) had a rule that your honored ancestor, a Revolutionary War veteran, had to have been married for any of his or her offspring to be qualified for membership.
Darned near put them out of business for a while after they'd implemented that rule ~ which they'd done only to keep out African-American applicants.
Seems that it wasn't all that common for our honored ancestors of the era of our founders to have "real marriages". Jumping the Broom was pretty much the name of the game.
My birth certificate has caucasion. I was born in California in 1966.
However, using African as race makes absolutely no sense (unless they just asked the mother and put down what she said)
Reporting it to ICE.gov would prompt an investigation.
I strongly suspect the locals elected to simply put down whatever the mother said just to stop any downstream kvetching.
Not just talk, there is currently a court case challenging this very fact.
The Senate took it upon itself to vote that he was indeed a natural born citizen, however the courts have never ruled on this, and it is a constitutional issue, which the Senate can not arbitrarily decide.
I predict no court will touch the issue either before or after the election. It may come up as an issue at the convention, which may be what this is really all about. Time will tell, I guess.

And what do you imagine ICE would do? These are the records maintained under the rules of a state government. They don’t have to report any of this to the federales.

SOMEBODY had better investigate this.
Hawaii became a state in 1959. Obama was born in 1961. So if indeed he was born in Hawaii, this that you state would not apply because Hawaii was a state when he was born.
The requirement for President is that of being a “native born citizen”. In 1961, the law was different than it is today. I don’t recall where I read it - if I find it I’ll come and post a link. If Hussein was born in Philippines he is not eligible to be President. Bottom line - the 2 issues are fraud and qualifications. The man is deceitful and unqualified. Wish the GOP had a better candidate.
