Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

There are some emphases in page two of that document about how important the spacing is in a SSS#. So, that makes it stranger that if the ALLEGED SSS Public Service Specialist sent that number to Bob Owens (blogger) that he wouldn’t use the correct format.

Does anyone else sense an Alan Keyes payback unfolding soon?

Actually you are right. The coding has changed. I just checked my son’s number at the selective service site.

His number is 83-xxyyzzz-1

Evidently the coding I discovered is only for numbers issued according to an older system.

I don’t think it is a misdirection yet. That was not the only oddity and it still doesn’t conclude that the number provided is Obama’s.

Above, the digit code for Hawaii is not accurate in Obama’s number nor is it displaying his birth year.

Funny- I thought the same thing. And stumbled more than usual. Looked preoccupied and distracted?? (Going to find some tinfoil- I may be close to needing some)

I had texted my son to ask him number before I published on this -- he didn't have it handy, so I went with the given publish date on that test prep book, figuring that 2006 meant the coding was still valid. Later in the morning I remembered that people had been trying to look up Obama's draft card number via the selective service site -- or rather would like to, but can not without his SSN. So I tried it, saw the new format and immediately posted the correction.

I guessed that the field was broken up into the subfields suggested by "xxyyzzz". The purported-to-be-Obama's middle sequence is 1125539. My son's number is lower than that but in the same ballpark. Yet they are on opposite parts of the country and Obama is twenty two years older. So there's a strangeness there.

I tried to check my own selective service number, but the on-line records only are available for those born on/after 1/1/1960.

What year was your son born in? I have been wondering if the 61 in the BO number is for year of birth.

Also can’t the office who records the registrations be contacted directly so they can explain the meaning of the coding that is currently being used?

Also if the coding has been recently changed does that also indicated that BO made a rather recent registration?
