Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

That is one of the most important factual allegations available anywhere on this topic. Where and when did he say that?

What is the source for this information?

If you can really demonstrate he said this, it might well be the key to unwinding his position. And if you do have a source, you ought to post it on Free Republic as well as here and on Texas Darlin’s site.

What I got from the site administrator was: "David, just spotted your post. This is going to get buried because it’s on an old thread. Is it possible you could repost your comments on today’s thread, so that all might see them - and possibly respond? Just a thought. Thank you."

You followed a link to savagepolitics that I (meaning, me, myself) posted to you and Fred Nerks this morning in comment #4503 on this thread, in response to Fred Nerks comments #4441 and #4501 and your comment #4463 of yesterday, in response to an unsourced comment made on August 5, 2008, and reposted on TexasDarlin's site. I also gave you instructions on how to find that particular comment, and I'm delighted to see that followed them.

However, “Denise” is not the “site owner” at savagepolitics, she/he/it is a commenter. The owner is J Cifre, J.D. And neither is the response you posted a “note” -- it's simply a comment, responding to your post, by a considerate member (Denise) suggesting that you re-post on a more current thread. (You can do so by going to the main site  -- savagepolitics.com -- clicking on the #comments in the subheader of the current post, and searching for commenter “2009.” If you can't find 2009 in that thread, then keep trying).

I assume you will now locate the site and figure out what the later thread is and post a restatement of the inquiry there. Thanks.

I just got a note from the proprietor of the original site that asks me to refile one of the requests on a more current thread--I will do that if I can figure out how to do so.

Browardchad should know that we have been looking at this since January. In the early going, there was stuff in the African periodicals, some of them in English, that has been scrubbed. Those periodicals recited interviews with the Missionaries that got on the BOAC flight on which Stanley Ann was rejected; and with Sarah and the two half-siblings who claimed to have been physically present at Obama's birth in Kenya.

And what sites, specifically, were they "scrubbed" from, David?

There is other stuff that combined adds up to a fair inference that he was in fact born in Kenya.

And what is that other "stuff," David, besides your own theory?

And if not, Stanley Ann's mother really knows--it ought to be a simple task to respond to the birth location argument with real evidence. Why would they use a fraudulent birth certificate?

This isn't about a "faudulent birth certificate," as you well know. It may very well be fraudulent. It's about your insistance, exclusive of all other theories, that the "faudulent birth certificate" indicates that Obama was born in Kenya -- but you have never come up with links or other evidence to prove, or even bolster, your claim, other than the ever elusive "scrubbed" posts.

And by the way, David, if you insert a space after a semicolon when posting to multiple ID's, it doesn't show up in the second poster's comment screen. I came upon this post by accident.

It would seem to me if those interviews were on the Internet Freepers would have copied and posted them onto FreeRepublic, because that is what we do. So if they were ever online, then there should be some postings of the interviews in the FreeRepublic archives I would think.

Obiero recalls: "When the US Ambassador William Bellamy came to visit the school for the official renaming ceremony in February 2006, we gave him two copies of the proposal, one for the Embassy and one to give to Senator Obama. But we have not heard anything from either of them since."

Nonprofit About to Get Going

Don't forget; Baldilocks is still working to get help to the Senator Obama Kogelo School, a little school in Kenya which Obama promised to assist. You remember the story, I'm sure. He was in Kenya in 2006, in his father's former village, and he said he would help the school get going, and then he stiffed them. Baldi's dad came to the US on the same plane as Pops Obama, and she would like to see to it that the school gets the assistance it was promised. At last report, she had collected over $3000. So that makes the score Baldilocks: $3000; Obama: 0.

The site for her nonprofit is not up yet, but when it is, you will be able to find it here.

It's fun to embarrass Obama and show how he mistreated these people, but the real point here is to help. Who knows? Maybe he'll get wind of the site and take up a collection of his own, using his outstanding contacts and Internet fundraising methods. That would certainly be more efficient than relying on GOP bloggers and readers. Babs Streisand could put things right with a single check...

His principal adversary, Mrs. Clinton, probably has command of more factual material than anyone else. But her tactical ability to use it is limited. She can't be the person that actually uses the material because that will be politically fatal. And she has difficulty using her surrogates effectively--because she really can't be sure she will get the nomination if Obama falls, or at least falls too soon. All she can do is threaten--and if it appears that she is getting close to a breakthrough with her surrogates, Obama has the option of trading her the Vice Presidential nomination to get her to shut up.

Some thoughts.
1. He must get the nomination first and have this breaking soon there after.
2. Texas Darlin is Hillary follower I am told. So clearly, the Hillary camp is behind this as much as anyone.
3. I agree with you that Hillary has information on this.
4. I’m a physician. I find it odd that not one nurse, not one MD, not one local person, no one...has come forth with testimonials regarding Obama’s Hawaii birth. NO hospital records? That would put all speculation to rest if that were to happen.
5. Axelrod is running a campaign purely based on this man’s persona. He will avoid the issues, town hall meeetings etc with McCain as he knows Obama cannot support his positions wit the AMerican people, (pro abortion on demand, higher taxes, redistribution of wealth, anti gun etc.) Therefore, you can be sure that considerable effort has been put forth to straighten out the papaer trail of his birth.
6. I find it odd that State of Hawaii bureaucrats haven’t leeked anything, as one would think by now anyone who haS ACCESS to Obama’s records would have checked them out.
7. Axelrod is counting on this not being made public until after the election. ONce Obama is elected the democrats in control could tie this thing up for years. In the meantime, Obama is president. Making appointments etc. I think this shows the utter disregard for the office.
8. In the end, at this point I am having more and more faith in McCain. I don’t think the American public will vote for Obama.

This graphic was on interviews from Kenya about people that were there when Obama was born. After usmcobra started posting them here at FR, the stories were removed/updated etc.

There were other instances too, but I know his one off hand. If you go back through this thread, you can find more specifics.

Chief, I have seen two basic versions of the Obama Sr. enters Harvard story. One puts this event in 1962 and the other 1963.

The information I have is:

In 1958, Obama Senior was awarded an American sponsored scholarship in economics to the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He was selected by a former Kenyan cabinet minister, the late Tom Mboya, who was earmarked as the successor to Jomo Kenyatta, Kenya's first prime minister and a leader of the terrorist Mau Mau.

The presumption was that Senior would return to Africa and use his “Western-honed skills in a new Kenya.”

In 1959, at the age of 23, Obama Sr. left behind his pregnant wife Kezia and their children to become the first African student enrolled at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

So, if he were a freshman in 1959, he would have graduated in 1963, supporting the, “he left when Obama II was 2 years old.

There's no paper trail for this guy, except what he's written in his books.

I'm a physician, too.

In 1974, I delivered 67 babies (the only 67 I've ever delivered) as part of my OB clerkship.

I couldn't tell you a single thing about a single one of the babies. Sure, I remember the footling breech - but who it WAS? Forget it!

Why would a doctor or a nurse (FROM 1961!!!) remember ANYTHING which would have a bearing on this now, today?
