I have always taken it orally.
Even with animals, it is more effective orally than injected.

I’ve had to battle them in the past (lived near a swamp) and finally won the war by using Frontline (topical) once per month. The cat picked up the fleas from the rodents that he hunted.

My now cats (in the high desert) are also avid hunters but they never get fleas.

I am wondering if different parts of the country have more fleas...

I don’t have a source, other than Majic Eyes and the Law of War. I haven’t watched Majic for a long time so I can’t remember the details of 11.3, other than having to do with what the military can do when the government is occupied by a foreign power. Also something about military response when attacked with bioweapons.

No. Someone could make a good case for cancer prevention with some kind of periodic use. Though I would use Nicotine, Nigella Sativa or Turpentine which has similar effects. With Quercetin and zinc periodically not regularly. Quercetin and Zinc lowers the effectiveness of Niacin

By far the best cancer prevention is high dose Melatonin

Need sources for that. I have links on Ivermectin uses, research etc and have never seen anything like that. Schedule 4 poison - hard to believe that.

Ivermectin works in two ways.
The first way Ivermectin reduces the binding between antigen and the ACE2 and CD147 Basigin receptors (parasite receptor. Covid is a fragment of Malaria.)
All antiparasitic work in this way.
Second:
parasites are Lipid metabolism. Ivermectin creates an Inhibitory glutamate-gated chloride channels (GluCls.) The channel creates chloride and a free hydrogen atoms to flow through it. This disrupts cell migration. Also a reason not to take Ivermectin regularly. The two spikes of covid are a gene from the Plasmodium Yoelii parasite
