You mention Carlson. For days I said on here and Twitter that his story from two anonymous sources about the supposed deal cut wasn’t to be trusted. Nobody listened except on Twitter. As I recall, Q started on 4chan. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but that's my recollection, and several web sites seem to agree.

How was Q's authentic-ness passed from 4chan to 8chan? I believe that there is a hashed cookie (nothing to do with weed, despite how it sounds) created when you first post on these boards that would be extremely difficult to duplicate. (Maybe not that hard for NSA class hackers.)

You know there were dentists before dental schools, but I'm pretty happy they decided to try to formalize best practices. My grandfather graduated from dental school in 1920. I never experienced his "technique" but according to both my parents it was crude and painful.

J schools are apparently still at that level, much of the output of their graduates is crude and painful.

Eclipse is an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) which is used by teams in professional coding — definitely not hacker material. Hip Hop is a tool which generate C code directly from PHP. Definitely not programmed using Eclipse. As I said, Eclipse is not a hacker’s tool.
