Eclipse is nothing but an engineering development environment similar to Microsoft Visual Studio. It’s freeware. Am I missing something here?
Eclipse is an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) which is used by teams in professional coding — definitely not hacker material. Hip Hop is a tool which generate C code directly from PHP. Definitely not programmed using Eclipse. As I said, Eclipse is not a hacker’s tool.
I was thinking the same thing. I’ve used Eclipse extensively.
But the way the other posts were talking about it, I thought it was something else entirely. A different piece of software with the same name?
