Scientists discover the birds have developed two mutations in just 50 years Genes of White Plymouth Rock chickens mutated twice in 50 years Scientists previously thought rate of change in mitochondrial genomes was never faster than about two per cent per million years Mutations suggest rate of evolution in the chickens is 15 times faster Study goes against theory evolution can only be seen over long periods

A wingless chicken is a lot like octane-free gasoline.

“well, once they were feathered little lizards, so they’ve come along way... “ That would be: Well, once they were feathered little lizards, so they’ve come a long way...” No, they were never lizards, as far as anyone can prove from a reproducible experiment. Believing science requires faith, and even those who have no faith, hold it as such.

I’ld say a “hooster” or a “roorse”... or how about a “hock”.

I am hoping to start raising boneless chickens as soon as that mutation occurs.
They bring the most money. JK

Oh, we tried to bind adamantium to chickens.
That’s how duck tape was invented.
We could never get the adamantium to bind to the chicken with the tape, but we could tape lips on a duck.
I was this close to getting the Nobel Prize for chicken adhesives.

Even if his name was not on it, that would have to be by Gary Larson. He was good.

Did you hear how Chuck Norris caused the giraffes’ evolution in 1 1/2 seconds?

Breeding for characteristics causes the genetic background of successive animals to lose information. Higly purebred whatevers, are less genetically robust than prior generations.

The duck tape actually failed. But the experiments led to the development of cock tape.
