Anyhow, in the process of cleaning out boxes, it came to me....the questions that we all ask ourselves as we uncover chunks of our long lost past.....
What WAS I thinking!?!
So, my questions to all of you are:
What hobby or interest did you have when you were younger that you still have a passion for?
Ok, now....is there something you used to do that you now think "I can't believe I used to like that!"
Same with music---
What was your favorite band/song in highschool, then early adulthood compared to now? (Those still in early adulthood have only 2 questions to answer. Or maybe just one ;))
Is there anything in your interests, hobbies or life that would surprise people who know you? (Nothing weird, just.....) And if it invovles being on wanted posters, you can skip the question :)
Ahhhh,
Then there's the elephant story ;)
Tell me about it!
It actually talks to me saying "I'm here! Come on, open the pacakge ;)"
Feeling better not 100% but I did go to the drug store and buy some ibuprofen and oh, I picked up a bottle of D'Oro wine so hopefully I will sleep like a baby tonight, thanks for asking
Okay, I'll bite. What is "The Elephant Story"?
Hope you feel better!
Oh Chocolate looks innocent enough but it really has an insidious agenda!
Quick! Look away and back slowly away from the pantry area!
I am waiting for the barometric pressure to go down, tap, tap, tap
**Chocolate looks innocent enough but it really has an insidious agenda!**
It does!! I have to keep chocolate away. It's eeeevil.
About 15 years ago I had the flu and a temp of 105 for 3 days.I finally went to a doctor and he gave me a couple of prescription strength Motrin.
Within a couple of hours the fever had broken. This was after taking aspirin like it was candy from Sunday morning until Wednesday.
I have never used anything else since.
Brother delivers hay for several of the local sod/hay farms. One of the customers was Busch Gardens in Florida.
So, his first trip down there, he had to follow this winding, narrow road to the back of the facilty to this big metal building that was the hay barn.
He wa super, super careful driving around it, backing up etc....but about the time he stopped the truck, one of the zoo keepers started yelling that he must have hit the building.
Sure enough, one whole side for about 20 feet was rippled and bent. He filled out all the proper accident forms and let for home, felling awful that he'd screwed up a delivery.
He gets home and my mother calls him and says "Someone just called and said something about the elephant did it?"
Brother calls his boss and he's laughing so hard he can't talk. So brother calls Busch Gardens.
Seems that just before brother got there, an elephant got out and took an afternoon stroll over to the haybarn. And got an itch...that he scratched on the side of the barn.
Since then, the running gag anytime something happens that can't be explained is that the elephant did it. :)
You are evil. :)
40% evil according to the test I took the other day...
"The Elephant did it."
I'm gonna have to use that...
Hooper: "It doesn't make much sense for a man who is afraid of the water to live on an island."
Brody: "It's only an island if you look at it from the water."
There are so many great one-liners in that movie.
The nearest ones in the future.
I really enjoyed the last batch - great stuff.
Wish I was there watching it with you (one of my all-time favorites). Hope you don't mind me hitting the mute button again and again so we can discuss the movie in great intellectual detail in between scenes. Hey...that's just the kind of guy I am.
At this point, I'm pretty much going by whatever's in the news the day I start drawing. There's not much planning ahead with this. You see something in the news and an idea comes along, and then you go from there.
I finally went to the drug store today because I needed something that was going to work on inflamation, big time!
I can't afford anymore down days, as I am getting behind on my homework and I can't stand not being able to get and do my daily walk!
