I noticed that, too. Nice touch, though, wasn't it?

I'm glad you liked the graphic - I thought it would make such a sweet Welcome - really enjoy making or finding and 'fixing' up the graphics for Amy's. :)

Mornin' Billie, Amy.
Glad the phone guy fixed the problem - was it anything like this?
Poor Roscoe.

An elderly lady phoned her telephone company to report that her
telephone failed to ring when her friends called - and that on
the few occasions when it did ring, her pet dog always moaned
right before the phone rang. The telephone repairman proceeded
to the scene, curious to see this psychic dog or senile elderly
lady.

He climbed a nearby telephone pole, hooked in his test set, and
dialed the subscriber's house. The phone didn't ring right away, but then the dog moaned loudly and the telephone began to ring.

Climbing down from the pole, the telephone repairman found:

1. The dog was tied to the telephone system's ground wire via a
steel chain and collar.

2. The wire connection to the ground rod was loose.

3. The dog was receiving 90 volts of signaling current when the
phone number was called.

4. After a couple of such jolts, the dog would start moaning and then
urinate on himself and the ground.

5. The wet ground would complete the circuit, thus causing the
phone to ring.

Which demonstrates that some problems CAN be fixed by pissing and
moaning.

Happy Lord's Day all. Hope you're enjoying your Sunday.

What are those sites that you can go on. They have all the issues and you click on the ones you agree with, then at the end it tells you which candidate is your guy. I already know who I'm voting for, but I have an uneducated friend who admits to knowing absolutely nothing and I thought that would be a fun thing for her to do.

Wish I could remember what the site is. The funny thing is, every time I take that test, I come out over 75% Libertarian, but I could never give them my vote....well, never say never, eh?

Tell your politically uneducated friend to come here! She will learn more than enough to make an educated decision as to the "right" candidates to vote for!

Happy SON-day to you!! {{{NHH}}}

Howdy !

I took a questionnaire on a website a short while back on one of Mudboy Slim's "Black" threads. It was interesting, but I don't have it anymore.

Mud, do you ....

Scratch that ! A light came on. I found the thread/post where that was linked. A Liberal linked it there. [I see he is now NOT part of this great Forum anymore, may he rest in peace, hehe - banned].

HERE is The Political Compass .....

..... to help your friend to figure it all out. You might want to walk through it yourself first. It's kind of neat. I am in the close proximity as President Bush and Berlusconi:
