‘Evidence’ In Moscow Subway Bombings Doesn’t Add Up
Did Chechen rebel leader Doku Umarov warn of the attacks in this video?
April 07, 2010
Nine days after the two explosions in the Moscow subway on March 29 that killed a total of 40 people, crucial questions remain unanswered.
Who recruited the two women suicide bombers? And how is one to reconcile the disavowal of responsibility for the bombings by a man claiming to be a spokesman for the North Caucasus insurgency with video footage in which self-styled North Caucasus emir Doku Umarov affirms that the attacks were carried out on his orders?
snipped......
But if the Moscow attacks were intended as revenge for the killing of Chechens, why were the suicide bombers from Daghestan, not Chechnya?
snipped.....MORE questions.

SNIPPET: “Fallujah, Apr 7 (AFP) A 10-year-old Iraqi boy allegedly recruited by Al-Qaeda was about to blow himself in a suicide attack today just east of Fallujah when police spotted and arrested him, a senior officer said.
The incident occurred near a police checkpoint in Amariyat Al-Fallujah, a village 15 kilometres east of the former Sunni rebel bastion of Fallujah and due west of Baghdad, said Captain Anas al-Issawi.
“The 10-year-old boy had been used by Al-Qaeda in the past to place bombs,” Issawi said, adding that the child disappeared from his family home in Amariyat Al-Fallujah four days ago.”

AL QAEDA GROUP THREATENS TO ATTACK WORLD CUP
CBS NEWS.com ^ | April 7, 2009, 2:38 pm ET - Updated | Posted by Khaled Wassef
Posted on April 7, 2010 7:08:59 PM PDT by Cindy
SNIPPET: “The North African terror group al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb has threatened to attack this summer’s World Cup games in South Africa.
“How amazing could the match United States vs. Britain be when broadcasted live on air at a stadium packed with spectators when the sound of an explosion rumbles through the stands, the whole stadium is turned upside down and the number of dead bodies are in their dozens and hundreds, Allah willing,” reads a statement the group published in a recent issue of the Jihadi online magazine Mushtaqun Lel Jannah (Longing to Paradise).”
SNIPPET: “In addition to the U.S. and U.K. teams, the teams representing France, Germany and Italy are also on the group’s list of targets.
“All those countries are part of the Zionist-Crusader campaign against Islam,” the statement says.
The group says they will use some undetectable explosive that will be able to circumvent security checkpoints at the games.”
SNIPPET: “South Africa had announced last October that its security forces had foiled an al Qaeda plot to carry out a terrorist attack during the 2010 football World Cup. According to reports published then, South Africa’s National Intelligence Agency, senior police forces and American agents jointly conducted the operation, which led to the arrest of a number of suspects linked to the group in Somalia and Mozambique working on a plot to carry out bomb attacks during the games.”

Federal air marshals subdued a man who authorities say attempted to “light his shoes on fire” on a United flight from Washington Reagan to Denver Wednesday night, federal law enforcement officials told ABC News.
Authorities say an explosive team is on the way to the airport, and that while the presence of explosives has not yet been confirmed, they believe it was an attempted “shoe bomb.”
The suspect was identified by authorities as a diplomat in the Qatar embassy in Washington, Mohammed al Modadi. The FBI said the man had full diplomat immunity as the 3rd secretary and vice-consul
Oh Joy! I am flying to Denver on Saturday and then to So. America. This adds to my jitters about this trip.

ABC News: Attempted Shoe Bombing UA 663 DCA-DEN
ABC News Radio just reported the following information:
Air marshals subdued a man who attempted to light his shoes on fire on UA 663 DCA-DEN (757-200) as it approached DEN. The man is identified as a diplomat from the Embassy of Qatar with the title of 3rd Secretary and Vice Consul. Fighter jets were scrambled from Buckley AFB. The a/c was directed to a remote location at DEN. DEN FBI declined comment.
That’s all I heard on the special report.
I’m shocked the guy is a diplomat
***********
Authorities said two jet fighters were scrambled from
Buckley Air Force Base to accompany United flight 663, a Boeing 757, as it flew the final 40 miles to Denver where it landed safely.
Authorities said the man, identified as from Qatar, was restrained by the air marshals who were on the flight.
The United jet was reportedly being directed to a remote location at the Denver airport.
A spokesman for the FBI in Denver declined to comment.
Thanks looks like we found the same report :)
Thankfully this idiot was stopped - I’m betting on the passengers and air marshalls

It’s still breaking news.
We’ll feel better about this when all passengers are removed from the flight.
Yep, same incident.
I knew you would be on this report, this is the alert that came to me and when I went to the story, it says “No explosive found”, with lots of other info.
FBI Investigates ‘Shoe Bomb’ Attempt On Flight
The FBI is probing whether a man tried to ignite his shoes on a United flight
