Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

It’s getting VERY interesting:
Kenya to Hawaii
1959 Malcolm X travels to Middle East and Africa including Kenya. Malcolm X meets with Jomo Kenyatta (recently released from prison following his conviction on leading the Mau Mau Rebellion), Tom Mboya, and may have met Barack Hussein Obama Sr, who was Mboyas close confident and fellow Luo tribesman both from Lake Victoria.
Due to a program offering Western educational opportunities to outstanding Kenyan students that was organized by nationalist leader Tom Mboya, Obama Sr. was awarded a scholarship in economics, and at the age of 23 (1959) he enrolled at the University of Hawaii. Initial financial supporters of the program included Harry Belafonte, Sidney Poitier, Jackie Robinson, and Elizabeth Mooney Kirk, a literacy advocate who provided most of the financial support for Obama Senior’s early years in the United States. Elizabeth Mooney Kirk worked in Kenya and in concert with Jomo Kenyatta and Tom Mboya. Kirk and Malcolm X, both New Yorkers, would have certainly met in Kenya. Kirk co-authored many books with Frank Charles Laubach, founder of LLI.
Aside: Contrary to Obama’s claims in speeches in January at American University and in Selma last year, the Kennedy family did not provide the funding for a September 1959 airlift of 81 Kenyan students to the United States that included Obama’s father
NOW CAN WE SEE WHY THAT FOI ENTRY FOR THE TRIP TO AFRICA BY MALCOLM X MIGHT HAVE BEEN BLOCKED? IF HE WAS IN KENYA AND MET OBAMA SNR THERE, THAT BLOCKED ENTRY MAY HAVE PHOTOGRAPHS WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SEE.
Fukino and Onaka said that they "personally verified that Hawaii has Obama's original birth certificate ON RECORD.
The key word is "ON RECORD," meaning that Hawaii acknowledges having Obama's BC in the "virtual world" of a computer database, but not in the real world of a sealed envelope stuck in a metal file.
If they did, they would have said, "Obama's original birth certificate on file."
Stanley Armour Dunham was 5’ 11” according to his WWII Army Enlistment Record.
Hell there are so many inaccuracies within his fairytale that we know he is a bald faced liar, if the damned media would ever have actually done their jobs he wouldn’t have even gotten out of the starter’s gate!

Records from Kenya after independence are one thing, but records kept while the British were in charge are quite another. Records kept by the British were moved to the U.K. and if I remember correctly they are stored at Oxford, and the British did keep meticulous records!
The flight to the U.S. with the original 81 students left Kenya Sept.5/59. The students remained together in the U.S. for a two week orientation period before they left to go to their respective schools. Also Jomo Kenyatta was not released from prison until August 17,1961.
From the FBI files I read on Malcolm X he was in Ghana which is where he met Tom Mboya, he was not in Kenya.
I think the original was sealed when Lolo adopted him which would make it unavailable even for Jr without a court order. All the paperwork would have had to be in order before Ann and Jr arrived in Indonesia so the adoption had to have taken place in HI, there simply wasn’t time before they arrived in Indonesia. When Lolo went home he was sent into exile by the government so he wouldn’t reveal information which might encourage people to revolt against the government. He arrived back in Indonesia proper about a week before Ann and Jr arrived.
This is interesting. 3 pages of pictures when Madelyn's ashes were scattered.
I see Michelle near the cars (Obama helping down) and with a SSA. It does not look like she went down to the water with the rest of the family, rather waited behind.
There must have been some bad blood.

Tom Mboya (1930-1969) had been a prominent figure in Kenya politics in the 1950s and 60s. Trade Union leader, Pan-Africanist, secretary-general of KANU (Kenya African National Union) before and after independence, Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs and later Minister for Economic Planning and Development, he was seen by many and feared by others to become the next President of Kenya.

At that time, Mboya developed a close relationship with Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana who, like Mboya, was a Pan-Africanist. In 1958, during the All-African Peoples’ Conference in Ghana, convened by Kwame Nkurumah, Mboya was elected as the Conference Chairman at the age of 28.
In 1959 Mboya organized the Airlift Africa project, together with the African-American Students Foundation in the United States, through which 81 Kenyan students were flown to the U.S. to study at U.S. universities. One of them was Barack Obama’s father. In 1960 the Kennedy brothers joined this project, after Mboya visited them for that purpose, and Airlift Africa was extended to Uganda, Tanganyika and Zanzibar (now Tanzania), Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia), Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), and Nyasaland (now Malawi). Some 230 African students received scholarships to study at Class I accredited colleges in the United States.
In 1960, Mboya’s People’s Congress Party joined with Kenya African Union and Kenya Independent Movement to form the Kenya African National Union (KANU) in an attempt to form a party that would both transcend tribal politics and prepare for participation in the Lancaster House Conference (held at Lancaster House in London) where Kenya’s constitutional framework and independence were to be negotiated. As Secretary General of KANU, Mboya headed the Kenyan delegation.

In Kenya, birth registration became compulsory for whites in 1904. For all birth, death and marriage certificates, you will need to contact the Department of Civil Registration in Nairobi.
If your ancestors were of British origin but were born in Kenya, the civil registration documents may possibly be available in the UK. The National Archives, Kew hold records relating to records kept by British consulates abroad and at sea. From the nineteenth century they were obliged to send the records that they recorded to the General Register Office of England and Wales. The army also kept its own registers for at home and abroad.
The National Archives also holds some records of birth, marriages and deaths in Kenya. Unfortunately, these are not complete, but what does exist is available in record class RG 36 and covers the years 1904 to 1924. The National Archives holds a microfilm index to these, which will make your search easier. The Kenyan index can be found in RG 43. You will need to visit the National Archives in person, as these records aren't available on the website. Source.
Historical records of the Kenyan Colonial Government may be stored at Oxford, of course.
Here's that article about research at the Kenya National Archives. Quite an experience.
As you may note Jomo Kenyatta was released from jail but still under house arrest, his official release from house arrest was August 17, 1961. Here is a March 1960 article about Tom Mboya which appeared in “Time”

And here is a 1969 article about his death which appeared in “Time”

Also I am including an article which appeared after his widow, Pam Mboya, died Jan 27/09.

thanks for the links, but I don’t quite follow what you are getting at. The information I have added to the thread simply shows that Mboya and obama snr were close, Malcolm X went to Kenya in 1959 and a number of people were instrumental in providing the means for obama snr to go to Hawaii.
The FOI page that relates to the Malcolm X visit - states:
Malcolm X shows pictures of his travels in Africa, urges blacks to fight whites at home, not abroad, and that whites are afraid of what Muslims will do next (9/25/59).

Are you saying Malcolm X was not in Kenya in 1959 - that he never met Mboya or Elizabeth Mooney Kirk?
Thanks for the link to the info about the Kenyan Archives, at least the articles are stored in vaults. I would have been highly suspicious if the building had been destroyed by fire during the recent election unrest. Sounds like a trip to hell to even navigate the archives let alone to actually find out information. I did note that some of the papers from the death of Tom Mboya may be released, which is interesting since his family has been campaigning since 2003 for a full and complete investigation of the matter. I imagine such an investigation will be put on hold now that his widow has passed away(Jan 27/09), as has one of his sons, Peter.(2004 in a motorcycle accident).
Malcolm X was in Ghana in 1959 not Kenya and he met Tom Mboya at that time.
Obama Sr was close to Tom Mboya to a point, but when he wrote his socialist paper in 1965 he was hoisted on his own petard. Tom Mboya was not a socialist but he was the Minister of Economics and Obama Sr worked under him. After Sr’s paper was published he was shuffled off to the Tourism Ministry and became increasingly vocal of those who were hired that didn’t have the qualifications he had. He complained to friends that he was “paid peanuts” for all of the education he had. Tom Mboya may very well have been one of those who Sr was criticising.
I find that statement most interesting, all of Malcolm X timelines that I have been able to find show nothing of his visit to ANY African country during that period. All Malcolm X (official?) research sites skip that fact completely. Then the FOI page for that trip tells me FORBIDDEN.
Do you have a link to the Mboya/Malcolm X meeting in 1959?
Here is a link which has some background of the Luos( might want to skip it) as well as other articles about Tom Mboya and mentions of Obama Sr. It also has a photo of some of the Kenyans on their way to the airport. I do have the article in which it mentions Sr complaining to friends that he was being “paid peanuts” and will have to find it amongst all these links. When I find it I will post it for you. I spent last week looking into Tom Mboya and his family in further detail than I had before and found new info on Sr at the same time.

bookmark.
Not at this time, I will have to see if I saved the fbi files but we already know that Mboya was in Ghana in 1959 as you noted in your above post.(It’s interesting that you have the access denied, that is something new, as I didn’t encounter the message when I went through the files page by tedious page) I did find the article where Obama Sr complained about “being paid peanuts” and will post it for you. It also has some mistakes in it, as per usual.
