Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

What adjectives should I have used? Dark skinned? I wasn’t trying to be descriptive, but discussing race.
At first I thought it was a hispanic baby because it was lightskinned. Then I realized it was a black baby because it was dark skinned.

Oh I agree! I didn’t even realize it was several months later as I was just pinged. It didn’t dawn on me to see it was from JULY! So for that, I do apologize. From now on I’ll check the date posted.

It’s a very blurry photo, but it does reveal a very different look and size for Anne from the the early 1970’s airport photograph. Her size appears maternity or post-maternity which would coincide with the half sister’s birth in 1970. Which leads me to believe that the earlier photo of the couple is 1961 and the father-son photo was a campaign construction.
What are your impressions?
That particular fact was something that bothered me when I read how Susan Blake described Jr as “new and pink”. When Ann arrived on Mercer Island with Jr he was quite the newborn to be described thus. We have a Freeper that commented back on this thread about having biracial grandchildren. He said his grandchildren appeared white at first and developed their coloring within the first week. Don’t ask me which Freeper on this thread eventhough I have read through this thread twice!
If you do a Google search for Ann Dunham Soetoro images you will find that she was heavy for much of her later life. She wore long dresses after she had Maya but when she appeared in a skirt and top the weight showed like it did on the cross country tour the family went on when Jr was 11 or 12. (Dates aren’t important to Jr as he showed when he announced in N.C. that his grandmother had died, he said she was born in 1922 which meant she lived through two world wars and the great depression, but the first world war ended in 1918 four years before his grandmother was even born.)
What are your impressions?
My impression is that the boy obama is about the same height in both images, the mother Stanley Ann is pregnant at the time the photograph was taken with obama snr at the airport - and the photograph with the uncle is from the period later in her pregnancy with Maya.

Aren't there two birthdates for Maya? I believe Aug 1970 as well as the Sept 1971 date.
BO says his father came to visit Christmas time when he was 10. So that would be Dec 1971-Jan 1972. Both dates after Maya's two birthdates.
But I also noticed that Ann did not gain weight for at least a couple years after Maya's birth. She is still more slim in this pic - Maya maybe ~18 months (?). That would make BO ~ 10.5-11.5 (?)
So is the consensus that the airport photos are from 1961 and not 1971?

Obama snr comes to visit. Obama jnr appears to be about the same age as in the above image. This visit IIRC took place Christmas 1970-71.

FYI this school photograph was dated 1972. IIRC there are nine years between the two children, and that would make Maya around two years of age in your photo.
how far back do you want to go on the loooong thread...? I think it was established that the airport in question wasn’t built yet in 1961.
Ann had problems with her weight even back in the years she lived in WA state and I guess she eventually gave up on her attempts at weight control. The pictures of her at Jr’s wedding show this. Perhaps when she first had Maya running around she was able to keep the weight off but after sitting in class she developed more “secretary sprawl” which she never lost.
Not to me, I have always thought the airport pictures were taken in 1971 just by looking at pictures of Sr taken while he was at university in Hawaii. He has aged by the time the airport pictures were taken. Ann simply carried the baby weight around. If you will look at the picture taken with Lolo you will notice her legs are quite heavy, as a student she would have a difficult time losing weight.

Thanks for that, something I had never seen before! I do know that the wedding was celebrated a year later in Canada as I read a story about Jr and family crossing the border into Canada. Perhaps the 1971 birthdate for Maya has to do with Ann registering her in HI at that time.
The picture of Ann and Jr with her Uncle Jon was taken in Chicago during the cross country trip the family and Grandma made in 1972. Grandpa stayed home in HI. Uncle Jon is missed in most mentions of Madelyn’s family as there is an age difference of something like 15 years between them. Many biographies say Madelyn was the oldest of three children when there were actually four children in the Payne family.
