Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.
The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.
The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.
Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.
McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

btw...why does asking how obama got his US passport create such a problem for you?
When I posted that, I had gotten the same result (a broken link) on Clusty, as well as the link to the Kenya Archives listed at The International Council on Archives website.
The Kenya Archives appear to be back on line today, and the link works, so I guess Google gave up on their deep, dark conspiracy, and now you are all free to "penetrate" the Kenya archives for the hidden secrets of Barack Obama's birth -- but hurry, before Google sabotages it again!
It's ok to say you don't know, nobody will like you less in homeroom.
Actually, I don’t know. Nor Have I ever said that I do know.
What I have steadfastly said is that one does NOT need a BC to get a passport.
I’ve also said that when I was a lad, children routinely travelled on their parents’ passports.
So what is your problem with my asking?
Because people are using the simple fact that he has a passport as proof that he was born in Honolulu.
It isn't.
And THAT, sir is the whole nub of the debate as to his citizenship and eligibility for the highest office in the land.
Why do you assume your asking is a problem?
You are very far from the first.
I am a bit burned out on it largely due to having to give the same answer over and over and over to another poster who stubbornly refused to get it.
He seemed to think that if he kept insisting that you couldn’t get a passport without a birth certificate that would make the pesky facts on the State Department’s own web site go away.
I may not always agree with you, but at least you are not willfully stupid!

Did I infer that, let alone state it? No.
I wrote that knowing that he used a valid BC as proof would end the speculation just as knowing that he had to use different docs would strengthen the case.
We could be getting burnt out on it from spending so much time on it ;-)
Ah. My error. I’ve seen it asserted so many times that I guess I thought you were headed in the same wrong-headed direction.
Sorry.
no problem.
Thank you both for pings and alerts on info. Lots of reading here!!

The point remains: If there were a real birth certificate, it would be posted by now.
You are correct, but I do have some questions.
That's just a ridiculous thing to say at this point. It's wrong.
Read the footnotes to 8 USC Sec. 1401(g) which set out the legislation by which that statute was modified over the years.
If Obama was born in Kenya to Stanley Ann Dunham Obama, a US Citizen mother, and an alien (non-citizen) father married to his mother, he is not a US Citizen absent a naturalization proceeding. And if became a Citizen as a result of a naturalization proceeding, he is disqualified under Article II, Sec. 1, Par. 4 of the US Constitution from serving as President. Simple as that.
There is a fine legal opinion on a separate thread posted here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2040753/posts
Read it. If you have a problem with any of the words, let me know.
The man on the right of obama snr appears to be Stanly Dunham, obama's grandfather...
Ok...let’s go to 4,300 with this. Fred...what DOES ‘fair dinkum’ mean?
